    I have a bit different take. I like it like it is now. I get to hunt early with my compound, the last two weeks with my crossbow, shotgun, rifle and then 9 days of ML. I like hunting with all and the goal shoot one with each in the year! I would make one change though. Youth should be able to use cross bow all bow season. Youth are able to hunt with bow at 12. My son was not big enough to pull enough weight. That combined with why start youth with the absolute hardest and most likely to fail implement? I would of liked to start him with a crossbow and work up to the gun and compound. Otherwise I am fine the way it is. I really don't care what the guy down the street uses.     Papist I can't believe from looking at where you hit him he went so far. What a tough SOB! How far from hit to end would you say he traveled? You may not be completely satisfied but in my books you are a quality dude and persistent. Many guys give up too early you went well beyond. I have done the multiple day search before.     11/2 am 51 Out back for a two hour sit. I bumped one going in. It was quiet and really dead. Things should be picking up not puttering out!!

    I don't know how you guys do it lol. I have sat for hours got down and still hunted and sat rest of day. That is no issue. But you guys who stay up in stand all day 12-13 hours that is impressive, I think! I sat 7 hours once and 5-6 quite a few times but the cold usually gets me after a while or nature calls..... I do read kindle/used to do paperbacks, play on phone, use mind control to pull in deer..,.. I'd have to upgrade to all top line stands with foot rests and all the comforts. That would help.     11/1 am 30 Out back for 2 hours this morning. Man it was nice and cold and felt like a good morning. While still dark I had another yote or fox cut across right where the one last night did. Saw zero deer. I did see a big flock of turkeys walking out.
