Unfortunately I have to work even though I have a lot of flexibility so I'm hoping to be out by 2-2:30 so I can get 2 hours on stand. There is a spot I think I can get on the ground and catch the corner of that swamp I saw a couple the other day. My lazy ass would prefer to still hunt in than carry a climber!!

i hedged my bet that it was going to rain more this morning than afternoon so stayed in and hope to slip out later. Best laid plans.........

i'm not in this fight one way or the other but there is the problem if the bigger the rack makes you choose to shoot different than the smallest scrawny doe that you would shoot. If its not a good enough to shoot one it shouldn't be to shoot the other. Just my .02$

Ok so what r the rules here?? The top center is yard hunting!! The Second from right on bottom looks like a road kill!! The second from left on bottom yard hunting as well!! The guy on the bottom right is gonna hurt his arms they are so stretched out there!! Biz looks like he just robbed a liquor store!! JK guys!! Well done but the Academy needs a photographer!!

11/4 pm 41 Out in the tower with my son for 2 hours. It was a slow night and we got skunked. Getting out of the tower after legal we got busted by a bunch we did not hear coming in. He said he saw 4 tails run off.

11/3 am 37 Out in the tower with my daughter again. We tried out the heat in there today and man is it warm! We did have a nice 4-6 point come in and was headed right toward our shooting lane and just turned and went back where he came from. He was not in our wind, he did not spook, he did not walk across our trail in...just some 6th sense. It was so close 10 more yards. Then later we had a black cat come down our trail and take a nap for a while, it got up pounced in the grass and got a mouse or something. He proceeded to eat his catch then headed back wherever he came from. I guess he was giving us a lesson on how to hunt lol! She did great and sat for 4 hours. She already emailed me last night trying to figure out how to get home this week for a day to hunt another morning before crossbow ends.

i looking for a new set myself I presently am in a Core4 set but they are no more and its had a hard 4 seasons or so. I have been searching a lot and I am really leaning towards First Light.

Back out. This time with my son. Didn’t get a shot for the daughter but we had a buck each of her two sits at less than 50 yards. She’s on her way back to school. I pulled cam and lotsa movement last 3 days. Two of the better bucks 10:20am and 1:18pm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh we got close again! We had a 4-6 point coming right towards the open lane 20 yards from us and 20 steps from where he needed to go then he just turned back. He was not alerted, he wasn’t in our wind nor hit our incoming trail. Just a 6th sense I guess! I tried a can call as he was going away he did not like that. She was ready lol. 11/2 pm 52 Out in the tower for first sit this year. My 19 yo daughter was on her first ever hunt. 10 minutes in we had a small 4 point come in. If he’d been 4-5 yards closer I’d have let her shoot. He came back 15 minutes later farther out and wandered off. We sat a bit over 2 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

11/2 am cool 37 Down in the outer Hole. Ended up total seeing 2 four pointers and a doe. No shot on the doe but a good 3.5 hour sit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

11/1 pm Did a state land climber sit. Was not thrilled with the tree I ended up coming n. But right area. Overlooking a big swamp. I ended up seeing 2 one was a doe the second unknown. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
