I have a drop away rest but my vanes have to be set a certain way to get clear from the riser (rest set close for tuning reasons). I fletch my own arrows and now do all my bow work myself too. The only reputable shop around is 40 minutes away and the guys are never there when I need them. Very satisfying to do the stuff yourself.

I can't really remember the total tally. Like Chiefbkt, I have journals going back to 2007, but before that it would be just a guess. I do know I've killed 13 bucks 3yrs old and up.

There's a lot of sparring going on right now. They all have to try out their new weapons!

Fibroma. They are caused by a papilloma virus. I have seen pictures of a deer that had them one year but they were gone (except scars) the next. Not life threatening unless they make it difficult for the deer to eat or see.

He could get to 140 with those huge brow tines. Looks like a heckuva 3 year old.

I agree with some of the points that have been made, but everyone needs to cool down. We don't need to sing Kumbaya or anything, but there are ways to make the same point without sounding like a jerk. Personally, I wouldn't shoot that buck because he is young. A neighbor might shoot him and then again maybe he'll make it to next year, that's just the chance I would take.

That's a tough angle to evaluate, but I think they are different deer. Brow tines are different, plus the G2s on the deer on the left are longer than the G3s and it is the opposite on the big deer. -
Prions are pretty scary stuff. Mad cow disease was thought to be only a bovine disease until it suddenly made the jump.

Customer service counts: I had 2 Covert Black 60s that had water leakage problems. I sent them back last Wednesday and had 2 new ones in my mailbox yesterday!
