Your hand is in a liner that slides right out. Its more of an individual muff than a constrictive mitten. U can probably get your hand out of these just as fast as your pockets but unlike your pockets, you have the ability to move and use ur hands.Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

I have the cabelas Canadian stand hunter gloves. They are huge and have 1000 grams of insulation. Perfect for stand hunting. The also have a trigger finger zip and removable liner Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

I know you have all heard this before... "Beware the man who only has one gun. He probably knows how to use it!" Do you believe there can be one gun that can be used for the majority of hunting done in North America? If so what would it be in your opinion? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

these things give you superman hearing and dampens the gun blast... awesome Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

And I'm thinking the exact opposite. I think the lack of the scope makes it a little more fun. Kind of the same reason some guys like to use muzzle loaders. It adds a little challenge to an already challenging hunt.

Here's the set up...

I've done 50 and 100 with my 44 lever action with a red dot on paper with no problem and stayed within 4 inches but paper and live are two different things. If I had a bad shot on paper I wouldn't care but just wanna make sure I don't make a bad shot on an animal. I guess I'm just a lil nervous to do it for the first time. Imma be doing as much practicing as I can over the next 2 months.

So I had this idea that I wanted to hunt this season with my 45-70 without magnification. Either with iron sights or a red dot. That looks like a hell of a challenge and that's only 50 yards.Do any of you go hunting without magnification?

After firing that 12 gauge in the woods and getting a quick ringing in my right ear, I realized that that could lead to damage later on. So I ordered a pair of electronic hearing protectors. The ones that amplify sounds around you but muffler the gun blast. Does anyone else wear hearing protection while hunting?

It was like 4 of these spots in this overgrown field

Ran across this and I think it's a deer bed but I wasn't 100% certain so I marked the area on my gps and figured I'd as you guys.

Where are you?
-
Lol sounds about right

I'm in the Cranberry Mountain WMA and I can't find a single one. There are tons of oak trees, acorns are everywhere but not one squirrel.
-
I def need to invest in a nice light weight rain jacket

I'm going to get into reloading one of these days. It just seems smart. That's true. The only thing that sucks is its a 3 hour round trip plus tolls just to get to a place I can legally hunt.
-
Yeah I was thinking that. My first free weekend and it rains smh.
-
Does anyone go out hunting knowing that it will rain? I'm itching to go squirrel hunting tomorrow but they are forecasting rain. Do squirrels even come out while raining? Lol

Would you shoot him or let him pass?

I'm going for my first, so I'm taking the shot. I can't be picky on my first one. -
Lol thanks. I always thought a brick was 100 because it looked more like a brick. Ya learn something new everyday.
-
This nysafeact definitely hits you in the pocket. Bricks of 22lr are 8 bucks or less online but 16 bucks at the local gun shop.

There are always usless laws on the books soooooo...If you can eliminate any hunting laws, what would they be and why?

That's what I was thinking after reading all of the comments
