  1. Sucks that the quality may have dropped but overall they sound like great tools with a little care. The carbine looks like a great rifle for hunting deer on the ground. I'm leaning heavily towards getting one. Thanks for the feedback. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  2. Where the heck have I been that I'm just finding out about this rifle? First looks, it looks to be the best of both worlds bridging the accuracy and distance of a rifle but with the follow ups and reliability of a pump. Anyone know the cons of these rifles? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  3. I'm thinking of getting one in 35 whelen Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  4. I've seen federal premium loaded with the 60 grain partitions online for order, that's about it. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  5. It just peaked my curiosity. I'll probably be taking the 308 out this year but it would be cool if they have bullets in a 223 that can reliably do the job. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  6. That's also the fmj ammo that the military uses. Hunting ammo is a completely different animal and function completely different. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  7. From everything that I've read, the 60 grain nosler partitions are the way to go. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  8. After learning this in another post, I did a little reading. It seems that a lot of people have had a lot of success with 60 grain Nosler partition rounds as well as some Barnes rounds. Have any of you guys hunted and harvested deer with a .223? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  9. That's exactly what it says. I just read it myself. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  10. I remember your airgun, that thing had some thump. I think a heavy 223 world take a NY if I did my part. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  11. Wouldn't a well constructed 223 round at 2700fps be more capable than a 30 air rifle at 900fps on deer sized game? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  12. When your on a hunt stand or ground, do you have all you need n your pockets or do you carry a pack? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  13. I know when doing an out of state hunt that it's makes sense to carry a back up rifle, but does anyone do it for an in state hunt? Like one locked in your vehicle just in case you drop your main rifle and knock the scope loose or something. Or would you just call that day a wash? Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

  16. Who else is dying to hit the woods for a good hunt? It's been one of the few things I've been able to think about lately. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
  17. Whispering makes no sense to me especially when you just let a rifle sound off. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
