  1. Jeff at Niagara Outdoors is also an excellent bow tuner. its a bit of a hike from Rochester but inside an hour
  2. He also didn't scream, he knew to stay still and be camouflaged by Nicholas' guts. First guts we've seen from Nicholas actually
  3. I hunted ducks at Tonawanda today, there's a huge bodied deer missing it's head right in the parking lot!
  4. So the Wolf that Morgan let go immediately tries to kill Rick. Morgan has to answer for that! I think Glenn slid under the dumpster too
  5. Was out this morning, we saw a lot of birds but couldn't quite pull them in. We got a drake woodie and a pair of mallards. We had a lot of birds make a few passes and leave, something want quite right with our spread I guess. We did have a jerk cord going but I don't think that helped or hurt us
  6. My first two deer were does, 130lbs and literally 65lbs. I took them both to Black Angus and got back two identical packages!
  7. I really don't know how much longer I can do that sort of thing and I'm 44. It's a little nuts
  8. I keep the DMP if it is for where I'll be opening day of gun. I like to shoot something opening day!
  9. we see lots of mergs on Ontario, all types. They are beautiful birds but man they taste worse than tires so we don't shoot them
  10. Yessir. Left home at 1, three hour drive, two hour paddle, three hour hunt, two hour paddle, three hour drive home. All on no sleep. And now I'm drinking beer at a softball fund raiser. I may not live
  11. Once you find a good shop hold on like grim death! They are few and far between
  12. I kind of like it that way. Kind of why I no longer run cams. I don't want to know exactly what's out there
  13. nope. I have very few spots where I know which way they're traveling. That's why I don't "hunt the wind", I don't know what's good and what's bad. I wish I had places with well defined food sources and bedding areas
  14. Alabama Archery isn't too far, Bill Chiro can tune a bow
  15. My buddy got the black duck, I'm still looking for my first. Woodies and mallards make my day I love eating them
  16. We had an amazing morning, birds everywhere. Got my first gadwall and it's a beast! Going on the wall for sure These are the first really plumed teal I've gotten as well
  17. this won't be its permanent home. Also I have a carabiner around the string in case my loop breaks.
  18. lol you don't want me messing with your bow, I'm still learning. You're welcome to use the draw board though
  19. As stated the most important thing it does is let you time the cams. I just replaced string and the draw stops aren't hitting at the same time. So now it's twists and untwists until it's right
  20. Nothing else to add, just wanted to post a pic of my draw board!
  21. Same on Coyle Hill in Belfast you had it to yourself during archery but its an Amish paradise come gun season
