Was out this morning, we saw a lot of birds but couldn't quite pull them in. We got a drake woodie and a pair of mallards. We had a lot of birds make a few passes and leave, something want quite right with our spread I guess. We did have a jerk cord going but I don't think that helped or hurt us
Yessir. Left home at 1, three hour drive, two hour paddle, three hour hunt, two hour paddle, three hour drive home. All on no sleep. And now I'm drinking beer at a softball fund raiser. I may not live
nope. I have very few spots where I know which way they're traveling. That's why I don't "hunt the wind", I don't know what's good and what's bad. I wish I had places with well defined food sources and bedding areas
We had an amazing morning, birds everywhere. Got my first gadwall and it's a beast! Going on the wall for sure These are the first really plumed teal I've gotten as well
As stated the most important thing it does is let you time the cams. I just replaced string and the draw stops aren't hitting at the same time. So now it's twists and untwists until it's right
