How many acres do you hunt if it is private land .
46rkl replied to Hunter007's topic in General Chit Chat
I’m so jealous. Started out with my 25 plus three neighbors who didn’t hunt for a total of 80 acres to hunt plus about 200 of ag land that was open to all. Neighbors selling and farmers leasing and I’m down to about 40 acres that I can post and hunt. Still, never a lack of deer here in 8H. Great trail cam pics but too small of an area to hold them anymore. Gotta adapt and keep on keeping on. -
I’m glad to share an anniversary with you guys. 29 years for my wife and I. Great pics and congratulations to you both!

Still in Chicago. I may not survive my anniversary. At least I’m finding good beer. Can you tell my wife took the pic?
-
Along the Chicago riverwalk having a Revolution Brewing Anti-hero IPA. Especially good on a ninety degree day.
-
At CMAC with my wife for Little Big Town. Young Lion IPA is good but a concert.... shoot me. Rather be in a tree stand in a freezing drizzle.
-
Just don’t tell my wife I said that....

Having a new NEIPA at Noble Shepherd, Kitchen Staff, while listening to a fantastic talent, Claudia Hoyser. Man! Great voice and beautiful! Beer is good also.
-
You, my friend, are the definition of a good man. I’d buy you a beer any day. Well done.
-
Enjoying an evening in Ellicotville. The brewery plus a couple of local bars. Couldn’t be better.
-
A nice Friday evening at Rising Storm. Having a pint of Golden Hopportunity. New beer that has a slightly west coast IPA taste but not at all strong. A great summer beer... just as the days get shorter and we slide into fall. Most of my friends get pissed when I say that but not my hunting buddies.
-
Having a clubhouse beer at Conesus Golf after planting trees on the course. A little work for free golf and beer. Not bad.
-
A summer day, finally! Yard work, golf and a good evening at my favorite brewery, Noble Shepherd. Had two good ipa’s, good music and good Thai food for dinner. Maybe a little campfire tonite...

The end of a great week in Banner Elk, NC. Five couples and an amazing amount of alcohol. ATV riding, whitewater rafting, hiking and lots of golf. Not a bit of rain, hot temps and great beer from Kettel Beerworks.
-
Great day. 15 pounds of fresh Lake Ontario King Salmon in the smoker and a Homebrew West Coast IPA to celebrate the smoker work.
-
A notable night in beer. Other Half opened a new brewery in Bloomfield today. Great beers for IPA fans. Count me in.
-
A good day of home brewing. Genesee-Oh Cream Ale going into the fermenter. Relaxing now with Wise Man Mountain Calling IPA. Very nice
-
A great spring day for a hike along Hemlock Lake with my wife. Then to rehydrate after all the nature stuff, a great new IPA at Noble Shepherd. Kettle Juice. Mmmm Mmmm, good.
-
Having a beer at Rising Storm with my new drinking buddy.
-
Yard work done on a nice early spring day and now for a good beer. Crooked Stave American IPA. Very nice flavor and fairly light tasting. Golf tomorrow!
-
Always a good evening at my favorite brewery, Noble Shepherd. Music, food and a great NEIPA. Life is good.
-
Lawson’s Chinookered IPA. Really great pine and citrus taste to go with some grilling venison burgers.
-
Back to my favorite local brewery. Rising Storm, the Hypnotize is a great NE IPA. Plus, the atmosphere here is fantastic.

Last night Buffalo, tonight Rochester kidney foundation gala. Still no good beer but this Labatt Blue Citra isn’t too bad.
-
Spending the night in Buffalo at the Marriott with my wife whom is receiving a service award from the Kidney Foundation of Western NY. Having a Great Lakes IPA while watching the ‘Cuse. Definitely a good night.

After 12 days of nothing but water in Honduras, I’m sitting in Atlanta airport with a Sam Adams New England IPA. Certainly not the best but it’s taking me back to the good life. Mmm, mmmm!
