So been using one of same stands for about two weeks and no other hunter activity any where's near me. I climb in today to find the stand of s guy that was supposedly kicked off property like 30 yards from mine. Apparently the land owner said he could come back as long as he behaved this time I want to cut a bunch of trees down around his stand and say he did it. Ugh
Guess it's time to go to camp

Very well stated we need to remember we have all had our diet day out hunting and we all are able to make bad shots. If you think you are perfect and above the possibility of making errors I don't want you anywhere near me or my hunting party u are dangerous
Advice while tracking keep at it many excellent suggestions here one to add while your head is buried on ground looking for sign remember to frequently glance up and around you may be surprised and find him bedded near you. If you don't look up you may jump him and he'll take off again. I would say 8 hours to die is conservative if true abdominal shot could last 3 times that or even longer if didn't his any vascular organs
Good luck let us know how you make out

Had a small doe running circles around my stand this am. For 10 min literally would run back and fourth. I was waiting for a buck behind her but never showed.

What are everyone's thoughts tracking a shot deer onto posted land. I have a neighbor farmer with 400+ acres who has supposedly not let anyone hunt on since another neighbor puke ruined it for all. I have asked two years in a row and been declined. Offers to post and help around farm oh well maybe next year I'll sell my soul lol
Would you track a deer you shot either onto land you didn't have permission to hunt or posted land ect. I would ask first obviously but this guy is never around and since could be a time sensitive issue
Just curious what others would do

Bullseye archery in Bloomfield excellent place can recall the guy's name but I just bought a Hoyt he obviously spend time with me setting up but before I bought spent time with me and my son. He has an awesome indoor range like 10.00 for the day. And a free outdoor range with many 3D targets 10-70 (I think) yards
I am a stickler for good customer service I demand a lot but will gladly pay a little more for it this place is great will never go anywhere else

I've got a very convenient place to hunt behind house. This one guy last year ask my neighbor farmer (friend) if he could flatten a small area of corn near his stand and would pay for it. Farmer told him NO. So I'm in stand one day as neighbor comes by and finds about a 100x100 square of corn all trampled near this guys stand. Luckily he know me and son well enough that wasn't us. Guy was fined by dec and kicked off property. Now I got whole place to self. Adjacent lot about 400 acres farm land, hemlocks and hardwoods I was able to hunt on one year deer all over. Then they grant permission to a local puke and next we know this guy brings like 20 of his buddies out. Now for last two years no one can hunt property. Been trying two years in a row offering to help on farm post land ect. Maybe next year
