I hunt on the border between 4o and 4f. I waa the quiest i heard it in 7 years. I saw deer even shot a doe in the afternoon at a good 300 yards since no one is our group hadnt shot anything. Deer numbers by me are the same as they been in the past. I think its less hunters. The public next to me was empty. I see my from my expreience my father use to hunt with 15 guys. Drove from nyc to my spot on opening day after gettinh off work at 2. Get their at 7 in the morning say what the hell let me go shit on my stand. By the time i change and get ready and get dropped off its about 8. Say what the hell i just got dropped off 10 yards drom stand my father had gotten out of the car with a cig in his mouth let me go change the sd cards from my camera. By the time i walk to the camera walk back to the stand climp up the stand. I shit on my stand drop a galvinzed nail down. I think to my self nothing ia coming by. I light up a cigarette thinking to my self i shit for an hour and get down and go hang some stands. All of a sudden i hear some noise behind, think to my self its a squirrel, noises get closer closer i am to busy checking the sd card. I finally turn around and see an 8 pointer 15 yards away. Buy the time i got up got ready he spotted me it was to late. I felt like the dumbest idiots in tbe woods Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
