Why I'll vote for Trump...
Uptown Redneck replied to philoshop's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Dilpomat you don't get it...according to conservative faulty thinking, which is shared by a majority here, anyone dependent on help from the government is nothing but a drain on society. It doesn't matter that conservatives and those who follow its flawed philosophy have never offered up a single solution to help those less fortunate. -
Yes, we have all seen the progress brought about by conservative principles...namely most of them being found unconstitutional in courts nationwide

I have no desire to currently leave NY. I shall remain here with my liberal friends and neighbors content in knowing that our votes for the democrats will continue to cancel out any votes cast for republicans keeping NYS firmly in the Blue

We are not talking role models here, none are present in this election, We are talking about keeping the most unqualified, most dangerous, biggest idiot from occupying the White House, and before you try to repost this out of content I am describing Little Hitler Trump. Hillary is far better then the a%%hole that is Little Hitler. And my daughter shares this view, and not only has it been reinforced at home but her last year's Social Studies teacher thankfully shares my views on Little Hitler and according to my National Honor's Society daughter those views of what a moron Trump truly is where thankfully expressed on a near daily basis in her school. I owe a huge thank you to said teacher for helping to groom future Democrats. Influencing the students? Good, when the goal is to turn everyone imaginable against Little Hitler Trump.

Pack yourself and move then, hell, I'll even help you load up the moving truck to get you outta NY

From a business POV I don't believe UA is terribly upset about their decision. It is no secret that the number of people who hunt falls every year which makes hunters a declining share of their market. The crowds and lines at the checkout counter of the UA outlet center is a pretty reliable sign that UA can continue to survive without the hunter's dollar. Looks like their sales from those engaged in traditional sports will absorb whatever small lose they might incur from their recent decision. (Personally speaking my neighbors purchases for their daughter's softball leagues will single handily surpass any hunter's boycott lol)

And this give away of public land is the work of your beloved Republican party. If they should ever succeed you all who vote republican will have no one to blame but yourselves. Some of you will try countering that they vote republican because the GOP supports the 2nd amendment, but what good will it be to be able to possess a hunting rifle when you no longer have a place to hunt after the republicans you voted into office have given away your prized public hunting lands?

No matter how corrupt you all might think Hilary is she is far less dangerous then Litter Hitler and the bigoted, xenophobic idiots that follow him. With this mind Hilary would need to do a hell of a lot worse things then sending email over an unsecured server, or any of the other ridiculous claims the brain-dead republicans, lead by Fox News and believed whole-heatedly by the equally incompetent backers of Little Hitler, for me to even give a slight thought to not voting for her.

Giving Away Federal Lands
Uptown Redneck replied to Uptown Redneck's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I wouldn't call it spinelessness I would say a large majority of American's have simply given up on politics as a whole and therefore don't bother to vote anymore. Its the whole "my vote doesn't mean a thing" -
Probably the same people who watch it's owner's news channel

Do gun laws make us safe?
Uptown Redneck replied to NFA-ADK's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
OK, seeing you want to get technical, those elected by the citizens of densely packed NYC write and vote on what becomes the law of NY, not the actual residents of NYC. But i'll forgive you, perhaps the educational standards of whatever small little upstate hick town you live in aren't up to the same standards as those of the metro area. -

If their constituents were really as upset as you claim they were were they voted out? -

Not sure what the answer is hut but having nyc dictate laws and elections for the whole state doesnt seem to be a fair reflection of the state. I wouldn't necessarily say NYC dictates the law for the entire state but there is no doubt that because of its population NYC voters tend to carry the state. -

Would you support a mandatory death penalty for ANY crime where a firearm was used? No I would support mandatory sentences for the illegal possession of a gun, or for the use of a gun in a crime. I would call for the death sentence only for extreme circumstances -

Actually the support was from the city. Upstate was quite he opposite two totally different cultures But the results remain the same, he was re-elected. NYC liberals carry the state -

Just goes to show more New Yorker's support keeping assault rifles from the public then support the ability to buy them
