As for magazine size being NYS DEC bans any semi-auto carrying more then 6 rounds for hunting the Safe Act call for 6 round magazines works for me. However, for practical purposes an exemption for a 10 round magazine for 22's also works.

What is your reason for wanting sporting rifles banned? For the simple fact that such weapons, paired with high capacity magazines have no place in society. The killings carried out with them are all the proof one needs. The potential dangers of a Hilary administration pale in comparison to the world-wide damage Little Hitler would bring about.
