  1. You are definitely right, and i am 100% new to the atv trail life, so I am absolutely considering it. Fortunately, I will use the quad up at our camp for a few months prior to Maine, not exactly apples, to apples in terrain comparison, but maybe it will give me more confidence, or less confidence with myself, and girlfriend on the back, as I watch the tires on rocks, and driving over logs. I will most likely keep the same size tire though, I know you gain no clearance out back until larger diameter tires, its just I honestly like tinkering, and like the tall look of anything once lifted. I like a bit of wheel gap. I even like truck with leveling kits, on stock tires. I was more concerned about the axle angles up front, but it netted 1.75" lift not the advertised 2", I think i will be fine, camber is still decent as well. My 220 bayou stock, has more positive camber. Oh, by the way, I notice how soft the sidewalls are, one tire on the rear is low from sitting, and its soft. I wonder if 2 ply is so the tire grips better, allowing it to smear itself, and hug obstacles, or just more profit for them...lol
  2. Oh boy, I hope I dont have too much trouble up in Maine in August. I will make sure I have a plug kit, and mini compressor, just incase.
  3. Thanks Yes, they are definitely stockers, and I hope to run these tires until they are shot. I hope they handle dirt, and gravel, boney trails. I plan to just cruise for sightseeing, not run fast, and hard, hoping they hold up after your input. The lights I am still working on. Just finishing them really, just hoding, and routing the wires nice, and clean at the lights themselves.
  4. Thank you! I am having a blast with this, jist tinkering in my basement, awaiting for the yard to melt, and dry up enough to use this for the winter tree damage outside. Figured it is something to peek at for members while the weather is not so nice.
  5. Sullivan county, near the Delaware! Id set you up of nearby, absolutely. Thank you, my dad has been verbally explaining it to me, as said prior, i typically run premade relay harnesses. He used to wire up all the sheriff's cars, so I can't imagine that, but needless to say, he is a guru with wiring. I did this 100% myself, although he has taught me everything, its great! Starting the lift kit NOW. Super excited. I like making my vehicle's "mine".
  6. Finished my wiring last night. Ran two relays as i probably already mentioned. I have it wired just like factory, key needs to be on to energize the relays, and to illuminate the switch, and led lights out front. Tonight I am starting the install on the 2" lift, looking forward to it.
  7. Started wiring up my lights Making my own relay harnesses, solder, and shrink tube all connections. The lights will operate like factory. Sharing key hot power from the factory accesory wire, spliced in after the factory accesory fuse, this way its fuse protected. Running 2 relays now, will use one for the 11" bat, and one for the 4 hyperspot pods. Having a good time tinkering in the basement with this.
  8. Id be too nervous to buy a quad at the same time as buying a house. Thats just me though, but sometimes if a deal is a DEAL, you shouldn't let it slip away....
  9. Regular pork this time, one of my favorite meals. Thats my dad's smokehouse, its old school
  10. Agreed, need to become a mountain man. People wonder why I am such a loaner at 31 yrs old...people suck. I am fine with my quad, and cabin all tucked back in the woods, left alone. Lol
  11. My idea of the ultimate comfort food. Home smoked sausage, potatoes, string beans, onions. Butter, salt, pepper.
  12. Maddie, hang in there, I think its safe to say we are all here if you need to vent, or get somethings of your mind.
  13. Im left speechless, my dad, and I always do the same Rob.
  14. Sausage & garlic chicken parm pie Easter dinner was yesterday
  15. I agree with Jay....pick up the bone, and then stir.
  16. Mounted up 2 of the 4 hyperspot pods. I cant wait to use this quad.
