  1. Lunch at the house today, crab cakes and cobb salad with a tomato imported from our garden.
  2. Congrats! what region are you in?
  3. Another 55 mile ride today! What a blast, trails are in awesome shape due to the lack of rain.
  4. How about I waited 5 yrs to propose also? Im sure thats not proper too then? Zero reason to rush, this country is FULL of divorce, and Ive had too much shit in prior relationships that I feel the need to be more than 110% sure in whom I marry. Jenn set the wedding date too by the way, it wasn’t my choice, its about here in my opinion. I see your point, it is a lot of time for the majority of society...but the majority of society ends up divorced anyways...Keep in mind, we want family, and friends to be able to have enough time to be able to afford to travel, and attend. We aren’t the type to just spring it on loved ones with relatively short notice.
  5. Glad you caught that, I intentionally started that in hopes you would have said some funny haha.
  6. What is late? wedding date? Because it will be held up here in Maine, and I want those who are coming to be able to have plenty of time, and plenty of time to save up for their expenses as well. It also gives us time to save the money up to fund the wedding, plus we are saving money for a new offroad machine, that we want at the wedding. Lots going on
  7. That’s the plan in 2023 That load is blown, lol.
  8. How much could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood? lol reading your post 3 times reminds me of this phrase. Haha. Thanks, but check the 9th pic down in that post, its a flat water stream, thats the photo, I photographed, while be photographed, taking a photograph. Hah
  9. You must register your machine. We are here for 11 nights, so I always buy a full year Maine registration. They only offer 7 day, or full year. 7 day non resident is 60 something dollars, and the full year is $91. No helmets, or insurance required...I have full coverage due to NY requiring insurance, and we wear helmets here as well. Roads are legal, and dirt trails are either state, or ATV/Snowmobile club trails.
  10. Today we went out to the ice cream stand for lobster rolls. After that we fueled up the ATV, and took a scenic ride through the backwoods. A total of 74 miles which is our longest ride to date. What a nice day, back at the house now, going to grill sone steaks that I’ve had marinading since yesterday, and then sit by the fire.
  11. 200 miles north of bar harbor, still difficult to see moose
  12. Thank you sir, glad you find enjoyment through my posts!

  15. LOVE Kokadjo, love it like crazy, it is where we want to retire at this point, such a special place. I proposed to Jenn last September 9th on top of Mount Kineo on the fire tower. thank you! I sure will, this place makes me feel like the real me.
  16. Glad you’re ok Chef, you just never know....
  17. Moosehead Lake, and Kokadjo. I went to Bar Harbor, and Acadia the first year I went up here. It was nice, food was amazing, but just too rich, and fancy for my blood.
