  1. Horizontally, with a crossbow, lol. Sorry - couldn't resist.
  2. We had our youngest granddaughter Evelyn and our crazy (in a good way) granddog Beau for the weekend. We've got 4 grandchildren and I've put each one of them on their first fish (our two sons in law aren't fishermen). 3 of the 4 kids on this same little pond across the road from our house. It's full of stunted bass, bluegills, and sunnies. Good action for a little kid. You can usually hook fish on every cast, but nothing over 8 inches or so. She's 3 years old and loves to try anything. She had a blast catching fish. Her first was a bass and she reeled in 11 fish by her little self and lost a few more. We were fishing until Mom and Dad arrived to pick her up and when it was time to go, in true fisherwoman tradition, we had to have "just one more cast" a bunch of times. Even then she said, "well, we can't go yet, we still have worms left". Beau is almost a year old, and spent 95% of the weekend in physical contact with me. He's a super cool dog and he thinks he's a lap dog. Great weekend for a grandpa!
  3. Yotes? Foxes? Hogs? And why not deer? I know second shots are seldom if ever taken, But I was thinking of an AR-10 platform for a deer gun. Just because.
  4. Thanks! I've got 4000 miles of warranty left. If that is truly the cause of the problem it should get covered.
  5. Looks like I jinxed myself. Yesterday, on the way home from work my climate control system messed up. Passenger side blows warm air on any setting. Looked it up and see it's a problem with the supplier of the motor that operates the mix door. Have to remove the dash to replace it. Still under warranty - whew!
  6. I hope so. I made my first ever campaign contribution (twice) to his campaign. Heard him speak once and got to meet him. Sharp guy.
  7. Are you holding your phone in landscape orientation (horizontally) when taking a pic?
  8. Astorino announced his candidacy for Governor earlier this week.
  9. I drive 50k miles per year for the last 13 years and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Tundra broken down on the side of the road. Or possibly any Toyota.
  10. What a good looking pup!
  11. Is Tundra Made in USA? 1. That's right…the Toyota Tundra is the most American-made pickup of the bunch! With a whopping 73.5% of its parts made in the USA, including its engine and transmission, the Tundra tops our list.
  12. Oooh, a weird link from the first post of a new user, I can't wait to click it!
  13. I will agree on that. I get 16 mpg and typically drive with a heavy foot.
  14. I don't know of anyone who is sorry they bought a Tundra. I drove my first for 11 years, 3 years so far on my second. No problems except for batteries, tires, and brakes on either one. The dealer I bought this one from is trying to get me to trade it in and offered me 81% of what I paid for it 3 years ago. I'd take him up on it but he can't find me what I want in a new one.
  15. Any consideration for a Tundra? Amazing reliability and high resale value. If you can find one.
  16. We have an ancient oak that marks one corner of our place that is referenced on the abstract of the property. Originally recorded in the mid/late 1800’s.
