  1. definitely extreme but I'd believe that
  2. I've been meaning to ask you how the rattling was coming along
  3. It feels good to be liked again. I wasn't feelin it when the likes didn't work.
  4. A couple weeks ago I had a doe go by a trail cam and 53 seconds later a buck was nose to the ground right behind her. Some bucks are inexperienced.
  5. Blue jays here too. At least they're being quiet right now. This is the time that I've seen deer here and have trail am pics so here we go
  6. To you in the woods, I could be in my stand on the edge of the woods by 5. Should I go sit in my stand, or mow my lawn?
  7. That was very helpful to watch. Thank you for sharing
  8. First action all evening! Neighbors cat just walked by.
  9. I really don't like blue jays. Hoping to get some movement here soon. It just cooled down a bit here and the sun went behind clouds so it feels closer to sundown than it is.
  10. I"m gonna try to head back out in between torrential downpours.
  11. Nothing yet where I am in 8n. Funny tho how a couple of fighting birds can make it sound like a huge animal is blasting through.
  12. Last night I prepped zucchini pancakes for tonight. I also made little bowls of ground beef wrapped in bacon that you stuff with whatever you want and put in the smoker.
  13. I only have till 830 this morning so I'm gonna head out now a little early but that gives some time in case I shake anything up on the way in.
  14. So when they cut the corn do the deer hit the field hard for a few days to get what spilled or do they go looking for new food? I ask this because the property where the field just got cut there were no deer even on cam at night at literally thousands of acorns on the ground. So many acorns on the ground that if I posted a pic Biz would try to bust me for baiting. lol I thought the deer like acorns
  15. I would not have felt comfortable shooting the one at 42 but I would have gone for the one under the stand because it was my first day out ever bow hunting and he would be close enough to get a good shot for a new guy like me.
  16. Just to let you know... All the deer we didn't see are hanging under our stands right now. Catch em off guard.
  17. I'm sure I won't get the exact answer because ever place is different. So both places I hunt have corn fields really close to them this year. Property "A" got cut yesterday, "B" is not cut yet. Property "A" next to the one that got cut has tons of acorns on the ground and is in the woods so to speak and I've gotten pictures of deer and bear on 5 cams just about daily until the last couple days. Property "B" is scrubby, maple, usually swampy except this year and surrounded by residential and a small farm. Up until about a month ago on property "B" I had plenty of deer on cam at night and rarely but a little during the day. Since then a wandering buck in the night on a rare occasion and I've seen a buck three night out of last week at dusk. What do you think will happen to each property over the next few weeks?
