  1. 3d or spots? Sorry if I missed that already. It is my understanding that bowhunters league just means the setup.....not actually using your hunting rig. Like sodfather said a hunting bow with a nice valley can burn up a shoulder vs. a speed bow with no valley and a solid back wall. Fixed pins and length or stabilizer are what usually determine hunter vs. open. You can still hammer a target with a 50lb draw weight and a properly matched arrow. Good luck and let us know how the changes affect your scores and body aches. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  2. It says closed on Mondays .....we need a new day. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  3. I saw something on Twitter where all the players make 83,000..... That's 15-18 thousand less than an NFL practice squad but in this league they are getting exposure. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  4. Isnt that the same benefit with social security? I believe it's 1/2 of what the working spouse takes home, and they can't collect until 62. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  5. I never realized railroad had their in pension that was in place of social security. I always thought one of the only groups who didn't pay we're postal workers. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  6. Up at 5....@ work by 7:15 out by 2:45......my fall is crazy I referee college soccer so local games during the week and up and down east coast on the weekends.....and that just rolls into hunting season so the body is beat down by Xmas. Not in bed before 10 since the kids are usually sleeping by 7:30....and the I finally get to do or watch what I choose. So back to the original......post. How about Monday? 8. Ok That time of year to start prepping for the fall. With my boys getting older and wanting to spend more time with me in the woods I think we are going to make the slow progression to adding a few permanent structures. Have a buddy who has two of these and absolutely loves them. Looking for others opinions and also looking to hear what everyone else is using. https://www.ghostblind.com/product/ghostblind-octagon-hunting-box-blind-diy-kit/ Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

  10. "That includes working to expand hunting grounds in NYS by creating a financial incentive to allow private landowners to allow hunters to access their property" What's the incentive? Tax break? And where is this happening? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  11. What do you have? Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  12. I call it controlled chaos. The room is roughly 12x11. The main area is 7x11 and the walled off storage area with safe and shelves is 5x11. As the sign says it was built in the fall of 2016 after I turned around one time and my 2 year old was making a brake for a muzzy broadhead. The 6' bench is a must....allows for anything from gun repair, reloading, fletching arrows or working on a bow. Also a great staging area.....pack gear or dump gear during the season and nobody is bothered when the door is closed. Also have a 4' desk that is used as an office area and mainly when viewing trail cam pics. Have makeshift lighting in there now but when the major remodel starts on my 1st floor I will have the electrician install a few more outlets and can lights. Also need to cut a vent in the heat duct because at times it gets cold as hell down there and I am forced to run a space heater to make it tolerable. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  13. Will do....never used to shoot with a hat in either, but once do it a few times you get used to keeping it away from your string. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

  20. Looking into renting a house on Oneida this summer(middle of August) Any tips on the lake for fishing mid August or good places to rent? Also any must see attractions around the lake? We will have kids ranging from 3-12. Thanks in advance for all the advice. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  21. Apparently there is an app called Yeti( it's up an running in Buffalo)...they arrange someone to dig your car out. Heard it usually costs 30-50 bucks....might be worth it. https://www.wkbw.com/news/local-news/you-can-now-get-the-snow-off-your-car-without-leaving-the-house Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  22. My mom and mother-in-law have one. Both have the LT version with awd. They seem pretty good in the snow and gets better gas mileage having a 4 cylinder. Haven't heard a complaint from either of them. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
