I hear ya on that....be happy your not in fl.... My wife has been out of work for 14 months..... Was well qualified for unemployment....But due to some loop hole was denied... She fought it and again was denied then told that she wouldn't be eligible for 5 years...the real kicker was The dumb @55 manager lied and was caught lying during the appeal..... To top it off we were denied for P.A........ And we Are qualified...That's a touchy subject so I won't go into it.

Here's an idea..... Don't cut the season but move a week or 2 of the over- all season to a new season in late spring or early summer.... Make that time bow/ xbow maybe restrict that to certain areas and private property.... I think that would help the pressure issue.... And give us all an additional opportunity.

Regular fishing...... Never been ice fishing. My favorite 50-75 miles out on the gulf getting amberjack..... Damn hard fighter.... Mahi mahi and goliath grouper..... Hook into one of them and you and at least 1 other in your party are spending an hour each to get them up from the bottom

The last time caught perch was when I was 6. I never ate any fish I caught in fresh water.... Haven't fished fresh water since I moved th fl...... It sounds like fun.... Catching them.... What do they taste like?

I got a couple of questions about hunting licenses. I see in the guide on the dec's site what permits/ tags you can get.... My question is for bow, regular and late seasons, are the the permits that you get with your license strictly for a specific area or can they be used in any area? If they are specific, can you pick the areas...... Can you but extra tags? Its all rather confusing... The zones and area's....

Between my 4th grader and 5th..... The 4th acts more mature......

Chicken bullion? Interesting.... I really can't speak about what I bring hunting (seeing as I have yet to actually go hunting) but when I'm out and about in the woods it's trail mix, ham samiches and water.... At lest 2 qts

I know that you guys up north are getting a pounding with the snow and cold... I grew up in it... but where I am now in Clearwater Florida, we have had maybe 5 nice days in the last 2 months. Most days have been lows from the 40s to the 30's and highs maybe to 65. More than once I have had to wake up to scrapping ice off of my car. You 65 is beautiful weather to most but when you spend 10 months of the year in 95F and 99% humidity, 65 is cold. As of 7:45 it is 38f here.. This winter has be absolutely miserable. And just think .... in less then 2 months, I'll have to adjust to the snow and ice there....

WOW this thread really cracks me up.

Here is Twister. We have had him for 2 years now. he was abandoned at the vets office that my wife use to work for and instead of shipping him off to the SPCA the Vet let my wife bring him home. He loves tug o' war , chasing squirrels, lizards, frogs, cats.... really anything that moves. and he will not go to sleep at night unless he is in one of my kids beds and under the blanket!

I thought this could be an interesting topic to share. myself, officially my job title is a tech support engineer. I specialize in advanced access control systems,CCTV systems and video analytics support. I am also the office network manager. Responsible for 20 pc's and 6 servers.

Good debates help keep us all on our toes. Gives us all different perspectives on issues ..... See the other side of story. Sometime it's amusing to see how easyit is to push someones buttons and get them on the offense defending their opinions but really, name calling and flames should be left at the door. what better way is ther to end a good discussion then to resort to acting like 5th graders
