    I've ruined a lot of hip boots over the years because of it. I never realized just how may different varieties there were. I have found only 3 different kinds in New York. I bought this display last year. Am I the only weirdo that likes barbed wire ?

    Eckersley had me laughing last night when he commented on the strike zone for the A's pitching staff. He kept saying " I gotta have that ".

    Brees goes for the All time passage yardage leader Monday night against the skins. Only needs 201 yards to pass Manning. If it doesn't happen Monday , it surely will be in the next game or two. Providing no career ending injury.

    I just happened to look out the kitchen window a few minutes ago and saw this little guy taking a rest on my neighbor's lawn.

    With the Yankees being the most storied franchise in all of sports , I'd rather see a Yankee vs. Boston series. It adds to the historic rivalry and is too good to pass up.

    Waterfowl legend Tim Grounds passed away in a 4 wheeler accident last weekend. Apparently he was spraying weeds at his hunting club when his atv overturned and rolled down a small embankment and then landed on top of him. He was a former world champion goose caller. He also made quality goose and duck calls. I didn't realize that he was from Johnson City...…..I used to drive by there on my way to Elmira.
