  1. Nice looking Tat ! They say.....once you're bitten by the tattoo bug , more will follow. Congrats on the Tom this morning.
  2. I was hoping to get a bobcat photo at this cubby. Now I don't want to make any sets there this year for fear of catching a red tail hawk.
  3. Thank you turkeyfeathers. I actually left one hunting area and went to a different area to retrieve my memory cards from my trail cameras. When I arrived, I got out of my truck and slammed the door closed. Just then he gobbled about 100 yards away. I quickly devised a game plan and after 2 1/2 hours of cat & mouse games , he finally showed himself. Game over...... I’d rather be lucky than good. Lol. I’ll check out the memory cards and share them if their post worthy.
  4. Just tagged out in Hopewell Junction, NY. after a 2 1/2 hour calling contest. I guess he lost.
  5. All quiet in Fishkill , NY. I haven’t heard any gobbling the last couple of days that I went out. Might be a wrap for me this year.
  6. Anyone see Almora crash into the wall at Citi Field last night ? Almost made an outstanding catch. “ Let’s Go Mets “! Still in first place !!!! ( I know it’s early).
  7. I'd love to visit the pyramids and Hawaii , but the Caribbean never disappoints.
  8. Like Steuben Jerry said , the resale value is great. I just traded in my 2007 Tundra with over 100,000 miles on it for $13,000. I only paid $36,000 for it new. I just picked up my new 2021 Tundra a couple of weeks ago. Took a while to get it due to a shortage in computer chips. I ordered it last October. The only complaint is that it passes everything but a gas station. I've had Chevy's , GMC's and Dodge trucks and still like Toyota's the best......but to each their own though.
  9. I got this guy last week ( forgot my IPhone ). This is the 3rd gobbler I shot with my homemade box call (kit).
  10. It doesn’t look like your call is broken. All you need to do is turn the striker upside down and put the wire back in it’s original position ( upper corner). Then put the striker right side up.
  11. With the season just a few days away , I always enjoy learning new tactics to killing gobblers. Although I like to think I've killed my share of turkeys over the years , I'm never too old to learn a new trick or two. There are probably hundreds of good tips to use but I feel like this might be number one in my book (especially for beginners). JUST STAY PUT......resist the urge to get up and move when the gobbling stops and nothing happens for 30 minutes. Often times they come in silent or a subordinate will show up out of nowhere. The gobbler knows exactly where you're calling from.
