  1. Actually, I'll post here so others can use the info but I'll do it later when I get on a computer. Typing on iPhone can be annoying.
  2. I'll PM you in a bit with the info you'll need but you will need to get a gun permit.
  3. I'm glad you're okay, Cabin. Thank you for sharing. It is always good to be reminded.

I'm planning on bringing it back and butchering it in my dad's garage in the city. I won't be surprised if somebody from a neighboring building sees a this scene and thinks something suspicious is happening and calls the cops. In any event, I'll probably bag it, drive it up to somewhere and dispose of it into the woods.
  5. Maybe they were waiting for a cartridge to roll off the bench and drop to the floor so I would have to bend over and pick it up. Damn, Doe...I thought I had received a bad batch of ammo because that gunsmoke smelled kind'a funny.
  6. Twice (at two different locations), I'm shooting at the range minding my own business and it's like all of a sudden my spider senses started tingling and I turn around real quick and there is a guy standing behind me staring at me. The moment I catch him staring, he turns his head real quick and starts walking away pretending as if he just happen to be walking by and acting like I didn't catch him staring. Two different time, two different people. And it's not like I have some fancy gun that would draw attention or anything.
  7. I like to describe it as the dark meat of a turkey leg. Paula describes it as a chicken with a bit of sweetness to it, which, I can see. I've also heard that it taste exactly like rabbit. I've had rabbit several times but each time it was so heavily seasoned that I can't hardly tell if I was tasting rabbit or some sort of spice so I can't vouch for that statement.
  8. I find that if you let the meat simmer for at least 45 minutes, the meat is tough like shoe leather since it's so lean. Don't how you can remove the meat with less time cooking without leaving a ton on the bones.
  9. You use the stepping on the tail method of the dude with the puffy hat method?
  10. I'm planning on bowhunting the moment the season opens which means on Oct 1st, I'll be out there before the sun even comes up. While, I have no problem going out there on Saturday, resting on Sunday, then heading out for the opener on Monday, some guys might find it a bit exhausting and would rather same their time and energy for the bow season opener.
  11. Maybe we just don't cover obesity related illnesses? Maybe that'll get people to naturally drink less than 16 ounces?
  12. I'd go with a "pimp" too. Preferably "Flyguy" from "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka".
  13. Technically, I'm a 3 year old red monster who refers to himself in the third person. Elmo would be into other monsters.
  14. I've been focused a lot on does lately. Lucky for me, she has not complained yet. Those fluffy white tails must sure be soft.
  15. I would go over and beat you up but I'm too lazy so I'll just text you nasty messages. I'm also too lazy to type so I'll use a lot of acronyms in my msg like wth n wtf?
  16. You know what I really wanted to say...but this is a family program. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/miniature-donkey-sex-bust-576142
  17. On Monday, I was up at Cougar Sports and overheard a conversation with a bowhunter and the store owner. Store owner measured him and told him he was a 26 inch draw length. He responded with "26 inch? Dang! For 15 years, I've been hunting with 29 inch draw!" I thought to myself...dude...you're like 5'6" at most with short stubby arms. How the hell were you shooting at 29" draw? He must have not been very successful.
  18. You're right. I was quick to judge. That is my fault. But then again, don't know what's worst...using hand out money on a phone or camping out, taking a whole weeks worth of vacation, just for a phone.
  19. Speaking of welfare...there are 20+ people camped out in front of the Apple store in midtown right now waiting for the iPhone 5 to release this Friday. It's just Wednesday. Obviously these people have no jobs but yet they can afford to spend the $400-$500 the phone will release for on top of the monthly data charges. I've been told that the first few people started camping there since Saturday.
  20. I don't have the luxury of shooting at home so every time I go to the range, I shoot for hours on end. I've gone to the range for 4 consecutive weekends. I was okay my first time out. Better the second time. Good the third. Horrible the last time. I'm planning on hitting the range a couple of more time before the season starts.
  21. http://www.crosman.com/airguns/rifles/pump/2100B ??? I'm no airgun expert but when I was looking, this looked like a good choice.
  22. The time of the day is not completely necessary to see squirrel but it is a huge help. But I rather kick up deer than see squirrel.
  23. Notice that the tri-state area already has one of the lowest rates while the south, texas, and midwest are the highest. Makes you wonder what is it about the demographics that causes this? Or is it simply cultural attitude and education?
