For 2 days now , I have been hearing a buck roar. Heard it 8 times yesterday and once about an hr ago. I heard a few times last week but not seeing anything on my cams. Hoping he shows, I would like to meet and say hello. Lol

I go by there a lot going to Cabelas .Some of the deer I see around there are monsters. But of course you can't hunt anywhere near there.

Awesome deer papist, I applaud your dedication for not giving up . My hat is off to you , you have some tough deer in those parts.

My neighbor was into this . First few shipments were some quality products but after a while it was crap . Eventually it ended up being $40 for hand wipe , hand warmers , rubber gloves , useless crap . He said he spent more on crap in 4 months than he had in 5 years.

Check all your mounts for ac compressor , power steering pump etc . Anything loose will cause the belt to walk. -
Not even any tree rats moving, just a few leaves falling. I ll give it another hr , then I ll get a cup of coffee ,see what new dirt is on Hillary. Might as well keg my Irish red ale , bring in some wood then back out about 3.

Just small spikes and 4 PT pushing does nothing aggressive yet few scrapes and rubs. Going up to mid 60s today. The trees are still full of leaves in 9k.

A small doe stopped under my stand being pushed by spike .Never heard them until the buck let out a loud grunt about 40 yds from me. My tinnitus is so bad it sounds like leaves rustling constantly.

Any thoughts on the T/C Compass or the Browning X Bolt ? 2 of the guns that I'm considering. I'm looking at .300 Win Mag for Elk , aoudad sheep and mountain lion , next year in west Texas.

I have the 3-9x40 BDC 250 on my Triumph muzzle loader. I took a large doe at 245 yds . I use the Nikon Spot On website to set up the circles to useable yardages. With my range finder I knew the doe was at 245 yds, I shoot out to 250 Yds for practice. The reticle takes a little to get used to , but if you use Spot On and shoot regularly it can do way more than standard cross hairs. I'm going to put one on a 300 win mag to shoot out to 600 + yds. in west Texas next fall.
