No lol. It takes a lot to be deleted around here.

You are incorrect. It’s right in the regs book.

Crossbow is allowed during late muzzleloader season. an unfilled gun season buck tag can be used as an either sex tag in muzzleloader season.

Had a nice sit this evening. Didn’t see any deer until I had Climbed down and set my muzzle loader down, and had a monster run by me about 15 yards away. All I could Do was stand there with my mouth open in disbelief. Maybe next time. It was just great to be back in the woods.- 8220 replies

Yeah we’ve been through this before, and I’m not looking to argue, but speaking from experience with both, you hunt with them the same way. Range is effectively the same in 95% of hunting situations. I’ve killed multiple deer with my bow at 40-45 yards. Furthest shot with my crossbow so far has been 30 yards.

I’ve told you guys a bunch of times, burmjohn.

Ok, now you lured me in lol. honest question, what do you mean by saying that the type and style of hunting is so different between a crossbow and a vertical bow? They are essentially the same. Still have to get within the same approximate range, still have to take the same type of shot, etc etc.

No not yet. All of my gear has been buried in storage.Just got it all moved into the house a couple days ago. I will be out soon though. Gonna go get the smoke pole and 300 dialed in at the range tomorrow. Been a strange year for me. Didn’t bow hunt, missed opening day of gun, and lot of other things. I’ll be back at it full tilt next season though.

Lol yeah. It’s been a crazy year and I havent been on here much. Just got done moving to our new house over in Mendon.

I have Ring doorbells and cameras. They work very well. I dont have the actual security system though.

I have To say that overall, I agree with this plan.

That’s a better position to know what needs to be done than the state legislature. Half of those dopes don’t know a single thing about deer other than watching Bambi. Also, DEC has biologists working for/with them. It’s not about how many enforcement officers they have.

It’s Letchworth park in part of the first and the whole second video. The other roads in the first were between Batavia and Letchworth. -
