  1. Trade two 3M DMPs for either 3P or 7P
  2. My old man got this little guy around 7:30 opening day on our property in Chenango county.
  3. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I Did the same thing with my dogs shock collar... needless to say I never put it back on him. Poor little guy . I also found out how to make a taser out of a disposible camera with flash. Figured the same thing "what could this little thing do" tried it out and OMG!!! That thing packs a punch!!!
  4. Just sold my six year old Reflex. Looking for a new Bow in the $400-$500 range for the complete package. Looked at the Bear Charge package for $399 and the Strike package for $499 from Gander Mt. Has anyone Looked or held either of these bows? or any other bow packages in this price range that you would reccomend?
  5. Yeah they are hard to find. Last year I went to Gander Mt. to get some bullets and decided to look through the rifles. Came across the Venture they had on display, Asked if they had any more in back or coming in and they said they no, So I ended up buying it. They knocked of 50 bucks because of the smallest little scratch on the stock. So far the gun has been great! Took a six point and a doe last year and a doe this past season with it.
  6. Nice!! I got the TC Venture in 30-06 last year. Put a Nikon Pro Staff 3x9x40. Gun shoots Great! Just not a fan of the plastic clip (feels cheap). The best gun on the Market for the price!
  7. Nice pics Wooly! I like the Winter waterfall pics!... What kind of butterfly is the one that looks like a leaf? Never seen one before..
  8. You can find cheaper ones for around $350. they work good for close range. If you want to shoot out a couple hundred yards your gonna be spending at least $1,500. We use a night vision monocular to spot then light it up when were ready to shoot.
  9. LOL theres another great video to prove theres MLs in NY. I think my 15 month old coulda held the camera steadier and if MLs are here and so hard to find or see do you think it woulda stayed there while a car was sitting filming it. I think not...
  10. I live in Sloatsburg... Borders Orange county
  11. Down in Orange and Rockland county we have tons of them... I have come across them many times while hunting or in my back yard. They bolt when they see you, You just don't want to get between a sow and her cubs and you will be fine. When they come in my yard the dogs usually chase them off, last year I had one come and destroy my new grille just to get a few licks of greese. About three years ago I had to throw rocks at one to get him to drop my deer head I had in my yard.
  12. I'm gonna say 2 1/2. He will be a big boy next year. Are you sure hes a 10pt cant see any brow tines... Even when zoomed in. If he has small ones next year they should be a little bigger. Any more pics?
  13. Yeah 280s sound right... The thing will barley idle, Hes only running the injectors for the E85. It runs real rich on pump... Yeah me and my Bros have been riding and racing since I was 3 and he was 4... My dad and cousins all ride so its in the blood like hunting...
  14. I'm a huge fan of chicken fried steak... Been thinking about doing it with venison. Anyone eve made it? if so any tips?
  15. Nice Rob! i was looking for a 600rr during the summer and then i lost my best friend when an older couple cut him off while he was on his busa. needless to say i stopped my search. 515 on E85 is VERY good. what turbo is he running? 35R? Sorry to hear about your friend Geno.. Im planning on selling it this year, been riding since I was 3 and used to race so I go a bit overboard when im on it... cant seem to keep the front tire on the ground plus two kids so I can use the cash... Hes Running a FP Red turbo with 1200cc injectors, Forgot which cams hes running but that thing hauls ass... I love the supra what did it run in the 1/4?

  18. Eastern Cougar The Eastern Cougar, or Mountain Lion, is listed as an endangered species in New York. This animal was historically present in the state, but has been absent since the late 1800s. There are a few kept in captivity under a special permit, and likely illegally as well. In at least two cases in past years, captive cougars did make it to the wild. Neither cougar survived for long. Officially, cougars are considered extirpated from the state. However, sightings of animals believed to be cougars are commonly reported to DEC wildlife offices. To date, no hard evidence has been produced that would prove the existence of cougars living and reproducing in the wild in New York . . . no tracks, scat, dead cougars, photos, videos, or audio tapes. Contrast that with areas with known cougar populations, where sign is relatively easy to find. For instance, there is an estimated cougar population of 200 cougars in the Black Hills of South Dakota. In 2006, South Dakota officials documented 56 cougar carcasses, and 67 carcasses in 2007. No wild cougar carcasses have been documented in New York since 1894. If you believe that you have seen a cougar, please check for tracks or other signs that have been left by the animal. If possible, photograph the animal. Photographs of tracks are also useful, please include an object of known size such as a quarter next to the track. Placing a can or bucket over the best tracks may help preserve them until they can be examined by Wildlife staff. Wildlife staff will only investigate reports where physical evidence is likely or known to exist, or when a captive animal has been reported to have escaped. Internet/Email Rumors Staff have been responding to forwarded e-mail chains regarding rumors about cougars. Examples of the photographs included are as follows: http://www.dec.ny.gov/images/wildlife_images/cougar2.gif[/img] Photo of a cougar following a deer. The origin of this photo not known (in at least one instance it was credited to US Forest Service). Note: The deer in this picture is a western species, not a white-tail. http://www.dec.ny.gov/images/wildlife_images/cougar1.gif[/img] Photo of a man posing with a cougar in a garage (This animal was shot in the State of Washington in December 2002) http://www.dec.ny.gov/images/wildlife_images/cougardeck.gif[/img] Photo of a cougar peering through a glass door and multiple photos of a cougar taken through a glass door (These were taken in Lander, Wyoming). http://www.dec.ny.gov/images/wildlife_images/azcougar.jpg[/img] Photo of a man with a dead cougar in a workshop (This cat was hit by a pickup truck between Williams and Valle, Arizona in late 2007). All the above have been seen claiming to have originated in some town in New York State, but they haven't. Please don't forward them as real. A popular tale, but not true . . . Rumors have been circulating for the past few years that the DEC has released cougars to control deer populations. Some of these rumors claim that Officer 'Jones' participated in the release, or that people have actually seen cougars with ear tags or neck collars, so they must have been released by the State. This is not true. The DEC has never released cougars, despite what you may hear to the contrary.
  19. Make sure you get a bow out of the deal also! lol
  20. Anybody catch the story MSNBC did on the Rem 700 sunday night? Not sure if it was a re-run but it was the first time a watched it.
  21. Yeah thats a Mule deer... Def not on Long Island
  22. NO... Two reasons the pet owners should be slapped on the spot! wouldnt of been to funny if it was a small kid instead. do you think the deer would of done any different? No I don't think it woulda done any different. If it was a small kid Where were the parents? Its nature things like this will happen. They are not invading our home. We the humans are the ones cutting into theirs. Not to mention the second video the doe has a fawn that looks to be no more than a few hours old. Would you not protect your child if you thought him/her was in danger?
  23. NO... Two reasons the pet owners should be slapped on the spot!
