So youre saying that name calling should be allowed then, Mike? May sound petty and childish , but ultimately, without said rules, forum would devolve into a chaotic brawl that noone would wanna be a part of. Most of us on here can refrain from this behavior - a few cannot. Thus, there must be rules in place as a deterrent.

I agree , but analogies arent ever exactly the same are they? I think you know my rep on here and will NEVER resort to name calling, no matter the situation (i'd PM the jerk and have a little heart to heart first if ever came to it!). Having said that, you are correct that the Assclown epithet wasnt directed directly at Larry, but as you said , all name calling is wrong and shouldnt be tolerated. My problem with all of this is what appeared to prompt the insults in the first place : because VH disagreed with Farmers stance on the Rittenhouse issue? Very intolerant and arrogant IMHO. Although I disagree with VH on virtually EVERYTHING political, I do enjoy his posts very much and respect and appreciate his opinion/point of view; I just wish he wouldnt resort to the name calling and the condescending/arrogant tone he adopts in his posts sometimes. I'm sure youve notice that and agree with that, correct?

I partially agree with what you said and let me explain why: It is true that Larry shouldnt have stooped to VH's level but who brought it there first? To use an analogy , if a kid hits another kid for no reason but that they disagreed with them and the other kids hits back, were they wrong? Technically, yes, according to most but couldnt you empathize with that kid for doing so? I sure would cuz you get sick of that crap.

Yeah , I jus went past it heading BACK this way to let the dog out lol; its pretty backed up.

If you lgo back and ook at the thread progression , I believe that VH came off incredibly demeaning and insulting initially and for no apparent reason which started it all, merely because he didnt like Farmers opinion on the Rittenhouse trial (I think it was Farmer , but not sure and I'm too lazy to go back and verify lol!!). Who called VH a piece of s$%&? I must have missed thhat cuz didnt see it.

Not trying to insult anyone ; just trying to I figure out if you were serious or not . And if I were, I certainly would not choose to do so by suggesting your were a “moderate “. But hey , I thought that’s what you were saying About yourself anyway wasn’t it ?? I mean, You Demeaned both left and right initially so I figured you were implying you were moderate - you said it , not me !! -
Vaccination
Northcountryman replied to johnplav's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Correct , and although I cant speak for others, I, personally could care less why you chose to receive the vax- as you say, its your choice. But you said initially, that you did so to annoy " leftwing nutjobs" and "right wing boobs" ; then , you reversed and said thatpost was just dark sarcasm or humor (something like that, anyway). I took your original post at face value and figured you were being serious-thats why I asked. Only you know your true reasons for getting it. All i can say is that if you truly did get it to annoy others/demonstrate how moderate you are , thats kind of a strange reason- dont you think? but hey, whatever floats your boat!! -
Vaccination

Sure I do, so, lemme ask you this, then: did you just get the Pfizer vax ? If so, may I ask for what reason? -
Vaccination

So youre saying that you made a medical decision( that potentially can deleteriously impact the rest of your life , mind you) based on your desire to irritate a segment of the forum that doesn’t even exist? Way to go .... -

Did you see his interview on "The View"? He got roasted- BIGTIME for being the major catalyst pushing the Russia Hoax. Man should be ashamed of himself: pathetic. -
Spooking Does and Fawns - Can it Ruin Your Chances?
Northcountryman replied to Northcountryman's topic in Deer Hunting
So you’re saying establish a behavior pattern so that they anticipate your travel route , then Switch suddenly to throw them off , correct ? I like it !! Peek a boo is worth a look lol!! -
Spooking Does and Fawns - Can it Ruin Your Chances?
Northcountryman replied to Northcountryman's topic in Deer Hunting
What I’m saying is , that deer drives are much more effective ( if coordinated properly , that is ) than hunting solo , so if you’re spooking deer while in a drive , doesn’t matter and actually , is intended in order to achieve success on the hunt . Hunting alone , however , is less effective and there is no intention whatsoever to spook deer ( well , at least for most of us lol). -

Spooking Does and Fawns - Can it Ruin Your Chances?
Northcountryman replied to Northcountryman's topic in Deer Hunting
Yes , but In the old days , drives were more coordinated and involved more participants so that’s a little different situation IMHO - reason being , deer don’t necessarily entirely vacate their Home range after being spooked, but avoid the immediate area in which it occurred as a consequence . And , if nicks nearby take this as a cue ,ya also avoid that area . -

Agreed - you can get away with a lot more with does and immature bauds than you can the big boys .
