Having a hard time deciding to sit a ridge bewteeen 2 swamps or sit a green field

Just the buck chasing the doe this morning and on my walk out saw a flock of 40-50 turkeys and had anywhere between 5-10 Toms and jakes. be out this pm overlooking a hidden meadow with an apple orchard off the one side that’s usually tore up with scrapes.

Just had a buck running a doe at 80 yards grunting up a storm. It was in the brush so never got w look at it’s head

This guy just showed up on another piece I hunt. From 530 this morning

Didn’t make it to where I wanted to be didn’t get moving fast enough this morning. However my setup is still good. Over looking logging trail and have a bunch of fresh rubs coming from a couple different directions and a really fresh scrape line that has 5 scrapes leading to this spot that weren’t here this past weekend

I plan on taking my nephew Saturday morning of crossbow and he is 16 do I need to still sit with him or can I put him in a stand a couple hundred yards away? Just want to make sure we are legal. Think we still need the permission slip from parents but just wasn’t sure how far apart we could sit.

Thanks. This her second go around she just got her smell back end of august when she had it back in January. She’ll sleep for the next 2 or 3 days and act like nothing happened. Just how she is whenever she gets sick.

Just found out my son can go to school even though my one daughter has Covid. She’s old enough to be home alone for a little bit so tomorrow morning I should be on stand. good luck to those out

Sitting in my living room with my kids and a huge 6 showed up at the spot I was planning on going this morning if my daughter didn’t get sick.

I’m now sidelined until the weekend. Youngest daughter just tested positive for Covid. So my little 2 have to stay home the rest of the week. I’ll go out Saturday if I can manage to not get it. 4th time it’s been in the house so I’m sure my luck will run out.

We are headed to Tioga for pool play tomorrow. 4 teams will be there everyone plays 2 sets against each other. Top 2 teams with the most sets won advance to championship Sunday. Our division has 3 of the top 4 teams in sectionals. going to be a long night but fun. First game starts at 430 until all matches are done.

It was nice people from the entire town showed up some never watching volleyball ever. Tons of students showed up. It was nice to see that type of support in such a small town.

We won the Sectional game tonight. Waiting to see who we have next on Thursday. Won 3 straight sets to advance.

Ticks have been bad by me this year need to treat my clothes again. Had one stuck on my arm and another one on my back yesterday.

Your good. It’s always good to have those reminders in my opinion. Get caught up to much on the camera when it’s only pointed at one small area.

That’s my daughters motto and she wonders why I won’t let her test for her actually license yet. Scares the hell out of me she drives like my mom. Lol

Didn’t make it out today tweaked my back a little yesterday so took it easy today. Next two days are doctor’s appointments and wife’s bday so no hunting until Thursday.

No I don’t just trying to narrow down a direction of travel for a particular deer and hoping he shows up at the scrape. I watched a buck earlier in the week walk just out of range of my camera by a couple feet and go the opposite way. im 90% sure I know where this buck is bedding and it’s on private. one camera has kinda told me that info so just hoping this second one confirms it. Sign is there of a big buck so I’m guessing it’s from him.

Scouting went well. Pulled my cell camera and swung past a ridge about 60yrds the opposite way the camera was facing found a bunch of scrapes and rubs so I put up a different trail camera. Went to the spot where the g2 buck lives and found a bunch of huge rubs and a very fresh scrape. Has 6 rubs all the way around the scrapes. So cell camera is at that location. Freshened all the scrapes with doe estrous. playing it simple. Cell camera goes off I’ll hunt there in the morning if not I’ll hunt the big scrape line.
