They were grown in large pots.That is where they will stay then,till fall.

What if I planted them near a spring where it is always "wet" ,by that I mean away from it some,not in the very wet soils? Can I keep them in the large pots till fall,will they stay good till then?

Can I plant large fruit trees this time of year? They are crab apples and pear that are nursery size,8' range. The crabs are loaded with apples already. The price is good and I have access to a small back hoe. I'm thinking 2 of each to start. Thing is,I won't be there to keep them watered.I have the pellets that hold water to put in the holes first and also have the spikes for in the ground that hold 2ltr soda bottles. I can also mulch around them. I would only be there for 2 days after planting. Don't want to waste $ so any info would help. (they will be in direct sun)

That's understood,but after it sits in the sun for a week,it starts growing things and I wouldn't want to wash my body with it,lol.

Depends on if you are talking rain water that was collected,or water that was brought from home or delivered. The later would be chrlorinated if city water and should be fine if kept covered and out of the sun. Otherwise,pour some bleach in it. But remember for long term storage,that chlorine will go away after time.

Good deer what? Seems they been doing well for alot of years in NY. But now,some guys want big buck management and want to "push" all the meat hunters into it at the same time. Joe, I have 1 week to hunt usually during ML season.....put yourself in my shoes.

The way I see it is this....I am an out of state property owner,who spends big $ to own property in CNY and pays taxes to the state of NY and as far as I see it,YES,I DO shoot spikes and prongs and doe.....to fill my need for "the thrill of the hunt and to fill my freezer" here in Pa.. I see what AR did to PA....very nice bucks.....if thats what you hunt for.I care about filling the freezer personally and the hunt means alot as well as spending time at camp with "the boys". Why must we always limit it to restrictions on "BIG BUCKS" ...who cares what is on it's head? Oh,you trophy hunters....well then,good for you,and more power to ya. I did my trophy hunting,years ago and can show the mounts. Like I said,good for YOU. I hunt and shoot what the LAW states I can,period. You don't like it? Oops..my bad. You want to hunt big trophy buck,I have no problem with that,but don't tell me or judge me because I can shoot whatever I want to within the law.
