  1. Hate to see this. Large bird, hawk or buzzard was on it. I set a camera up on it.
  2. Wow. When I hunted there for deer and speed goats, we applied by mail and it included white tail..either or. Elk tags were OTC for cow. No points needed that I remember.
  3. Sorry I haven't been on in quite some time. Sometimes life gets in the way lol. I will update this with pics a little later. The kitchen addition came out better than expected. The new refrigerator and solar system is working and the 12v lighting is blessing. We will be adding a covered entrance way and deck this summer.
  4. I had a piglet size deer about run into me while on stand about 2 year's ago. It was very strange and I never told anyone about it. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  5. Watched 2 Ermine hunting this morning and catch a mouse. Was amazing to see and took only a few seconds to happen so couldn't get pictures so sorry. They were in their white coat with black tail tip, just amazing to see them. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  6. I got a burn barrel and a pair of slippers. [emoji6] Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  7. That's the 5R hammer or custom bbl? Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  8. No,it's black.[emoji16] Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  9. Went out on the porch for a smoke and with coffee in hand he came walking by 30yrds away. I put my smoke in the ash tray , set my coffee on the rail, sneak in and grab my 7mag , come back out and bawam. Bag me a 9pt big body stinky ruttin buck. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  10. The milkweed is very important for Monarch butterflies. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  11. I find it very good eating myself...the young top leaves simmered slow in milk are yum yum. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  12. About every 4 hours. Although it's my one day off, the wife was up, so no hunting. We got some priority projects done before the snow flakes come. It was steady cold rain anyway. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  13. Exactly! Do It Now! Push yourself beyond, Now! if you do not,YOU WILL PAY! Basics is just as much a mind game as it is a muscle game. Good luck and Semper Fi! From a 6yr Army dude. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  14. I really thought you meant the regular WD40 at the time of my post. Since then I have seen for the first time in my life, that WD40 has some other serious spray lubricants I never thought existed. My apologies. Silicone base would be my best answer in this case. 15. 1 gal of oil can contaminate 1 million gallons of water. Lead is no different. I'm not saying that 1 bullet is going to kill us all from lead leach. But if you do some simple research, you will see it don't take much and is a serious issue. http://www.cayugalake.org/101.html Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  16. I have to disagree with that 100% for multiple reasons. Although they are not as dangerous as they would be if confined in a rifle chamber, they are still deadly. The garbage man compacts the load, they go off and start a fire in the load. A round actually goes off and hits the young man loading your garbage at close range. The lead bleeds into your and my water source etc. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah, the one I'm looking at is 1400 plus 200 shipping. [emoji33] Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  18. Logging sure does make it better. Less canopy, more browse. I have seen long term how much good it does both for animal and habitat. The tops provide short term browse whereas the maple stumps will shoot sprouts that the deer love for a few years normally. Now consider all the grasses/weeds etc. that too will grow now that the soil receives sunlight. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  19. So easy to do food plots after they timber. Just went through it myself. [emoji106] Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  20. Natural. Thompson water seal. I spent literally hundreds of dollars on the stain sealer on the cabin. Supposed to seal for 5 years....garbage. Thompson water seal heavy is best for a non stain situation. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  21. I am hoping for a slow dry on it. So far it's doing very good. As far as board and batten goes, that also cups and splits pretty bad. It seems hit and miss. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  22. Next time you should listen to the wife. [emoji6] Prayers for a speedy recovery. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  23. I went out to seed the roads that the logger made this morning and came across this Beach growing out of a dead stump. The freaky thing is that the roots grow down through the stump, come out and across and grow in to the broken rotting piece of the tree that broke off. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
  24. Made good progress lately. Working on trimming the windows today and then clean up before the rain. Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk
