  1. The way I see it as a property owner is this: Permission slip or not. The cost of the insurance is minimal and well worth it. It don't have to be a tresspasser that gets hurt on your property; what about the neighbor that is helping you with a leaky roof etc and falls off the ladder? He misses a month or 2 of work because he broke his leg. Someone has to pay his lost wages etc. That is what liability is for?
  2. God I miss going out there......great pics, thanks for sharing! EDIT: very nice 4x4......some here will say "are you blind" cant ya count? Out there, the locals dont count the brows.Nonetheless, that is a wall hanger for sure.
  3. Father/ son maybe? Nice young buck either way, looks to have good potential.
  4. This is the best I have had.Finally some bone,nothing huge,but legal deer nonetheless.Now I am stoked!
  5. The biggest oak I have is only going on 3yo...so gonna be a while. I have 2 others but they are even smaller. The beach I have not checked yet.
  6. Oh babay! That sure is a purdy buck! Good luck with him! Sent using my keyboard and mouse.
  7. I pulled cards last weekend and found 1 cam had 0 pics....the battery pack in the back of the camera died? I dunno, the regular batteries were brand new Duracell a week before that. When I looked at the small 3 pack, they had some light corrosion,so me thinks they are done. The cam wont even power up.
  8. Humm...the corn rows are crooked? That looks really good, good luck!
  9. When I was a young and off from school in the summers,I would find a hole near a stone wall and lay down with my 20g Ithaca FL parallel to the wall only about 5ft from the hole. When they would stick up the head, off it would come. It was quite thrilling at the time.
  10. Here is some info, not sure if it covers everything. http://www.dec.ny.gov/regs/4049.html The only stupid question is the one not asked.
  11. The rest of the parts came, the cheek riser and sling loop. I need to file a few thousandths off the front of the dust cover for a proper fit,but it will fit better than original when done. I may have it camo dipped this winter if I come into extra funds for some reason, but if not,I know alot of guys that did their own camo jobs that really came out well. It's difficult to take a good shot of the scope but you dont get the big glow when using your eyes, just the P4 hairs light up. I need to dial in the scope at 25yrds and then dial in the laser to the shot group. Then I wont need the scope? Makes sense huh?
  12. I had an SKS (Chinese) and it was nice, but traded it in for the AK platform. I was a little leary at first, but really like it now that it's all together, much more comfortable,a more natural grip angle IMO.
  13. With the way I hold it,and the placement of the laser remote switch,it is just the correct grip for the situation. When I had the vertical grip on,it was just not comfortable for me.The AFG2 is just right.
  14. A few weeks ago,we found a little crack in the cabin where bee's were entering. We waited till dark and sprayed them. Well the next day I was on the porch just below the area, and a single bee was flying around me,I swatted at it and it flew away from me....only to turn a round and come right at me and nail me right betwixt the lookers.Sum beach! both eyes swelled up and my eyes actually hurt. 2 weeks later, which was this last weekend,I'm under the cabin on my back , with nowhere to "run" and look down at my feet and guess what, yep, ground bee nest and a swarm at the hole. The wife said I never toched the ground on the way out. They all met death before daylight.
  15. This is a Hungarian AMD-65...originally issued/used by tankers and those who jump from a normally working airplane. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_65 Just recieved an email that my other parts are shipped! Been waiting a long time to complete this thing...can't wait to fire it up.
  16. Figured I better start my own thread instead of putting anymore in WNY's thread. Very close to being done with it. Waiting on a cheek riser/stock adapter and a sling loop in the mail. The laser and illuminated scope work flawlessly.I am very happy with the AFG2 instead of the standard verticle foregrip.I chose a single point tactical sling that will attach to the folding stock.More pics when the rest get here.
  17. Dueling banjos and some guy making pig sounds gets me every time.
  18. Getting wood from the stack and spied this little suction toed fella.
  19. Fog is tough to capture but cool, nice pics!
  20. The camera does no justice, but the fog was neat to see laying low.
