  3. No , I didn't shoot. I should have been clearer. If I don't see another buck today or tomorrow I might regret it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Just saw a deer running about 100 yds away. I hit the grunt tube which I barely ever use and the deer made a beeline right to me. He got to 27 yards before seeing me sitting against a stone wall. He stayed long enough for a shot and was blowing at me. He was a 1 pointer I have pics of. Too bad he wasn't bigger. Pretty cool having one come running to my call tho! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hopefully today or tomorrow otherwise saturday gun for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Been here since 545am and seen nothing so far. 28 degrees in 3N, feels like perfect morning. Did see an 8 pointer as we pulled into driveway to park. He was on the property in hunting. Hopefully I see him again today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Corn fields..... Must be nice. I'm just hoping a buck decided to eat the bark off a tree near me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. 11/7: I worked all day, but my Dad hunted dark -11am on state land and saw nothing. Then went to a friends property to shoot our shotguns to make sure they are still on for the gun season. Then he went back to the state land from 2-dark and saw nothing. We will be hunting the private land tomorrow, hopefully things start to move. Supposed to be around 30 tomorrow morning and he hasn't been there since Wednesday. I'll check the cams too midday tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Are you serious? Why not! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Same. My dad sat dark to dark Mon-Wed in 3N and saw nothing Mon and Tues and only 4 does Wed. I'll be out all weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I fly with guns all the time out of NYC. Cops and TSA always have been cool. Customs in Canada has been more difficult. When I was bringing home my Lynx from Canada, they kept asking me what kind of lettuce. I thought they were joking, but they weren't. The guy didn't know what a Lynx was until I showed him on my phone. Anyway, did you kill anything overseas?
  14. You're entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to completely disagree. "Hunting" within a fence and killing a 200" whitetail to me is no different than shooting a black angus cow on an enclosed piece of farmland. In my opinion someone chasing a bear with dogs 30 miles across the state is more "hunting" than the aforementioned canned whitetail hunt. There is a chance the dogs and/or the hunter never catch that bear. I can't just go up to Maine and shoot a booner because I want to. There are many variables when hunting "wild animals". There are no variables when hunting within an enclosure except for time. If you take the time to cover every square inch of an enclosure you will surely kill the biggest animal in there. We can go back and forth on this for years, neither of us will change opinions. Therefore, there is no point in continuing this conversation. You should spend some time updating your website, it might help with business.
  15. Awesome! My first blood with an xbow was a porcupine on Halloween in PA in 2011 lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 3N - From what I have heard: Buck rubs everywhere, but not much movement seen at all.
  17. Yea I saw the pics on the FB page. Just would really like to see the 7 150" bucks lined up lol.
  18. I've never heard of this guy before so I looked at the website and his work looks good. $475 for a whitetail shoulder mount is very reasonable. My favorite on his site is this one
  19. A fence is a fence. If you search long enough in an enclosure you will find what's in there. Just because some guy in Maine has dogs doesn't mean it's 100% he will get a bear. He needs to find a bear track to start. I can go I a bear hunt and there's no guarantee that I will shoot a booner. However, I can go on a guaranteed 200" whitetail hunt. In fact, in some cases I believe you can pick the deer you want to shoot before you get to the enclosure for the canned hunt. I've never been on a bear hunt, but I bet guys on this site have either over bait or with dogs and came home empty handed. Lastly, I don't find sitting in a treestand very sporting. I think it's way harder to walk or run miles behind dogs then to sit in a treestand and kill a whitetail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I believe the P&Y part, but would really like to see 7 150" deer in one pic. All 7 over 150" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. If it's legal hunting and the animals are wild, it's fair chase according to the record books and me. Hunting deer with dogs in lechworth would not be because it's illegal. Nor would hunting animals that can't escape an enclosure. Pretty simple. Poach any yotes lately? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. BizCT
