  1. I'm with an Xbow, so a little different. But I am always on the ground sitting against a big tree or stone wall. Pretty heavy pines, so I can only see 50 yards in 1 direction and maybe 75 in the other. Being up in the air wouldn't be anymore of an advantage.
  2. This coming from a guy with a pickle as his avatar? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Awesome Brow Points/Brow Tines/Eye Guards
  4. Things are looking better now. Still very windy, but looking like only 30% chance of showers on Saturday with a high of 49 and a low of 35. Sunday windy again but dry with a high of 45 and low of 29.
  5. Stacks of Johnson Matthey Platinum Bars.
  6. Part of me thinks I would have wanted it open before buying the house. But then again, I wouldn't want to lose what might be in there. But if it turns out to be body parts, I'm not sure I would want to continue to live in that house lol.
  7. I can't believe you live in a house with a locked safe not knowing the contents inside. I would have had that safe opened the day I closed on the house.
  8. lol. I barely got any of it. $30K out of a couple million. Most of it went to friends of them who took care of them, etc.
  9. Ive heard of it for a few years now. Supposed to the scent of bedding areas or something. Never tried it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hopefully some precious metals or cash are in there. No lie, I had a great aunt and uncle who lived in upstate NY. They had no other family. They would always tell my Mom to check certain places in the house for $ they hid (my great uncle suits pockets, old coffee cans, and even a hole in the wall in the basement that was patched up). For some reason they didn't want to put $ in the banks over the years. Anyway, when they died and we went through the house it ended up being over 1/2mill cash in that house. But also made us wonder if there was any that we missed somewhere?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Nice buck! I like the hole deformation in the antlers, pretty inique Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I only hunt from the ground and have deer eating the bush I was sitting against. Maybe with ozonics these deer would kiss me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. Tell that broad statement to all the Sheep, Elk, and Deer hunters out west. They aren't endangered everywhere in the US.
  20. Black is rare, but not unheard of. I would love to get a jetblack one. Would make a really cool mount.
  21. Michael Kerry, You are poacher! You run a business/farm in NY ( http://www.fourseasonwhitetails.com/ ) and are admitting to breaking the NYS hunting laws/regulations. I hope you get your license revoked for years to come so you can't hunt anything.
  22. I think the problem is that many times the weight of furbearers/predators is over-estimated. Too many times I hear the following: 20lb Fox, when it actually was probably 6-8lbs. 40lb Bobcat, when it actually was probably 20-30lbs. I was lucky enough to shoot a 42lb bobcat in Minnesota. It is much much bigger than 99% of the bobcats I see pictures of. 50-70lb coyotes, when it actually was probably 30-40lbs here in NY. I shot a beautiful adult male coyote in Alberta Canada. My NY taxidermist told me it was one of the thickest and prettiest coats he ever worked on. It was 22lbs, which is an average size one there. They couldn't believe when I told them NY yotes go 40lbs+ sometimes. The same goes for mountain lions, wolves, bears, and even deer.
  23. I know I've showed the photos and videos before, but for quick reference here is a picture of my Dad with a wolf. This one was approx. 135lbs and no coyote in the world is anywhere close to this in size. Here's the video > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M545PXOwmqY
  24. I would love to shoot one in NY, never have. I got trail cam pics of them but never have seen one while hunting.
