Haha. You guys go to Minnesota without guide and shoot a bobcat. Then go to Arizona without a guide and shoot a mt lion. Let me know how it works out for you. Sorry that I would be bored only hunting the ny deer season, so I expand my seasons and hunt variety of species. $1,600 for the 5 day bobcat hunt. I shot the bobcat on the ground, not in a tree. Can you walk 5-10 miles a day in -21 degrees and then shoot a bobcat offhand at 35 yards with a shotgun? I killed a buck 5 out of the last 6 years with a shotgun. If I wanted to kill does, I could have filled my 2DMP tags every single year as well. Not bad for only having access to hunt on 8 acres of property with no food plots or open fields. Are you still mad because you only have 17 teeth?

Let's all calm down and face the facts. Hunting deer with a compound bow from a treestand is less of a challenge than hunting deer with a crossbow from the ground (no blind). -
Well said. I enjoy upstate as well. My Mom's side of the family is from the Buffalo area (N. Tonawanda), I have spent a lot of time throughout NYS and enjoy it for what it offers in regards to the outdoors, hunting, fishing, laid-back atmosphere, etc. Living upstate or downstate is battle I have with myself everyday. I haven't had the balls to take the big pay cut and move upstate and live in a big house with property, etc....maybe someday when I'm older. For now, I get up there as much as I can to enjoy being away from "the city".

Not everytime but in most cases, pizza that costs more does taste better. They are charging more because they are buying higher end cheese, sauce, etc. I ordered nachos upstate once at a bar, I couldn't believe it was only like $8. Then it came out with melted cheese whiz. I couldn't even eat 2 bites lol. Food is like Cars, Equipment, etc. In most cases, you get what you pay for!
