    That’s reassuring....the little ball of lead is not quite as intimidating as my Remington 12 gauge sabots! ... but I am using one of my golden balls.

    Live from the office today...good luck in the field. Finished with processing a little later than I was hoping but it worked out well. Left the vacuum sealed cuts in the snow to “flash freeze” before loading in the freezer.

    The back straps were filled with cream cheese, mushrooms, onions, parsley and rolled with bacon.

    Got my deer butchered up...running low on bags so I figured I would eat some...although my brother out did me with stuffed backstrap for yesterday’s dinner....at least he shared some with me while it was still warm (he lives next door).

    Got my “butcher shop” ready to process deer later today. Tenderloins are seasoned and ready for the skillet to start things off! Brother hooked me up with another nice big slab of granite! Cannot wait to get out with my flinty! Good luck to the hunters in the woods today!

    Oh man! Four doe walked behind me at 10 FEET and stopped to browse while I was sitting on the ground...looking the other way. Nothing I could do. Tried for the ultimate selfie. They headed towards my brother but not close enough

    Those prices are low but higher that we expected for this year. And “high” because the low fur turn out.

    Exactly! Too big for one person to hunt out of....my parents will lounge out there so it is multi use. I like my 6x8 to hunt from.

    We built one at our parents that is 8x12...complete with a staircase, balcony, and wood stove. The outside is fully finished with trim, soffit, etc like mine.

    I believe it is 6 x 8, with a ceiling tall enough that I can comfortably shoot my self bow.

    It is very cozy with the wood stove burning...it is a coal stove so I cut my fire logs in half so they fit. Was inspired one day and painted the mural...I was thinking backdrop if something was looking in...got a little carried away!

    Got it done during yesterday’s PM hunt in 9H with my buddy. Both deer dropped in their tracks at 120 yards! Shout out to Wolcott Guns for help with my new Vortex 4x scope! Good luck today! Dino sorry about sideways Picts.

    I was going to sleep in today because of forecasted rain...I’m in my ground blind with blue skies above....strange...maybe today will be the day!!! A bit tricky in the canoe as the creek is starting to flood. Good luck all!

    Just arrived at my ground blind after a short canoe paddle. Last evening, my Friend saw a big buck walk right through the ground blind I’m hunting out of now...probably should have brought my Rambo knife in the event he comes through again! Good luck!

    The temps climbed to 20F in 9f with an expected high of almost 40F. Was a pain breaking ice to paddle to my morning blind.
