My martial arts brothers and sisters will appreciate the following view on social distancing: ma-ai: refers to the critical distance between opponents, a point at which forces are essentially neutral, but where anything can happen. Fundamental to ma-ai is "ma," roughly defined as the way something (or someone) moves through space over time. I believe the Filipino police also shoot drug dealers on the spot too. Probably keeps the incarceration rate much lower than the United States. I served in a couple different foreign countries where you could be shot, lose your head or disappear!

Governor Andrew Cuomo stated today while talking about the cost of ventilators that New York State is "broke"! New York State is one of the highest taxing states. So Cuomo, where did the money go? Later Cuomo was talking about the present budget up for vote. Cuomo used the term "great budgets" to describe past budgets. So lets go back to paragraph one above and ask Cuomo the question, where did the money go? So Cuomo thinks budgets that are "great" that leave New York State "broke". Strange how New York State politicians can on a regular basis find money for projects that benefit very few, but cannot find money that benefits everyone in preparation for a crisis.

Those involved in the distribution, sale and use of illegal drugs. 2. The violently mentally ill the government is unwilling or unable to institutionalize before they harm others.

I am in no way suggesting that the Corona virus was mutated to be more deadly by human intervention. Nor would I refer to it as a biological warfare agent. Still terrorists both domestic (Ex. Bill Ayres) and foreign (China, Iran. North Korea and Russia to name a few) must be paying close attention to how the Corona virus has caused large scale problems. I again stand by my fear of these terrorists could/might deploy a more deadly pathogen. I hope both the government and the American people realize the grave danger that Corona virus has caused with death, illness and destruction to a county’s economy. That being said, I hope moving forward that after it is done, that “Lessons Learned” or an “After Action Report” is both intelligently and honestly completed to prepare for the next epidemic or pandemic that strikes. Sadly some have politicalize this tragedy to continue their 24/7 attack against President Trump. Some of the state governors have failed to be prepared and have failed to initiate sufficient action to reduce or eliminate the spread of the Corona virus. So when the Corona virus epidemic is over, will we see all leaders intelligently and honestly engaged to be prepared for the next epidemic or pandemic to strike America?

I have seen in the main stream media their reporting how the Democrats are holding up the critical stimulus so they can add on wasteful nonsense. Democrats are smart enough to know if it does not pass they will blame President Trump. They might even try to impeach him again over his failure to protect the country. Schumer and Pelosi are disgraceful politicians that prove the need for term limits in Congress.

The high number of Corona virus cases in New York City is due to the subway transit system. A news report pointed out subway riders were is close contact with each other and many had contaminated surfaces in the trains which raised the potential for disease transmission. Hopefully the government will realize they need to improve the subway system with more trains to reduce crowding, better ventilation and better sanitation. Also Governor Andrew Cuomo was irate over many New York City residents congregating in large groups in the park and not practicing social distancing. Obviously they do not care until they are sick and adding a burden to the healthcare system.

Governor Andrew Cuomo is only doing a fine job begging and questioning for help from the Federal government. Maybe if Cuomo had planned for disasters like this pandemic he would be doing a fine job. Instead Cuomo has focused his powers as governor on sanctuary for illegal aliens, driver licenses for illegal aliens, wasteful social programs, fat government, keeping taxes (income and property) high, nonsense gun control laws like the SAFE Acts and other failures. Cuomo has not really improved the lives of New York residents. Cuomo has certainly not prepared to protect the people he serves by his inactions for years as governor preparing for a catastrophic event like the Corona Virus pandemic. What is nauseating about Cuomo is how he announces how invaluable life is and we could see 26,000 New Yorkers die from the Corona Virus. Since when did Cuomo who is a supporter of abortion (AKA “Baby Killing”), restricting New Yorkers right to carry conceal handguns for self-defense and is soft on dangerous violent criminals like William Spengler who was released from prison under the Cuomo administration to murder again cared about the lives of New Yorkers? Legalization is certainly popular with his “progressive” base and others who fail to accept the fact recreational users of marijuana use it to alter their mental state. When Cuomo passed the SAFE Act he made thousands of law abiding contributing New Yorkers criminals overnight by their possession of a firearm that looks like something used in the military. If you cannot make firearms illegal you just legislate them out of existence.

No thanks to Cuomo, I like many others wasted the extra money for the enhanced license. Now if Cuomo does not resolve New York State being noncompliant with the Feds, New Yorkers will need to spend money for a passport. Maybe we have no place in New York as Andy says! We will have to drive out of New York because we cannot fly out. Personally I believe he will defy the Feds to appease his liberal supporters because that is as Andy says "who they are".

Since this violent sociopath used a motor vehicle as his weapon, the focus is on placing the blame for this crime so correctly where it belongs, the criminal. Had this violent sociopath used a firearm, the firearm would receive the blame rather than the violent sociopath. Thankfully according to the article no one was hurt. Hope they lock him up for life since his deliberate act of violence that he knowingly and willingly committed against innocent people could have cause their death or injury.

My thoughts on concealed carry are: 1. Know when you can use a gun in self-defense legally. 2. Know how to expertly and quickly deploy your weapon to neutralized your deadly threat without harming innocent lives. 3. Know that hesitation will be your greatest enemy if you fail items 1 and 2 above. Bruce Lee preached the main tenant of self-defense is awareness. Gichin Funakoshi said it best when with if you see a threatening person walking towards you, just cross the street. If they are some angry disturbed person, they will probably be no threat and keep walking straight. But if they cross with you, you need to go into offense-defense mode or you may be licking your blood off the pavement. Unfortunately your self-defense tool bag must carry many devices. The most important one is your brain. A brain that is smart, rational and aware that threats do not always advertise themselves. Sadly deploying a firearm in public to protect yourself may not have the best outcome for you. Even brandishing a firearm at a would be assailant to educate them of the facts of death could result in your arrest. New York is not a stand your ground state. Sadly it can be complicated. I had a jerk who kept pushing me in a store checkout line. After a couple shoves I straight eyeballed him in a drill sergeant style manner and told him in a civil manner and calm voice to stop. Jerk just stared at the ceiling. Again he pushes me when I turn around so I deploy a hidden secret from ancient kata and jerk flies across the floor really staring at the ceiling this time. End of problem. Another time while waiting for a subway another jerk tried to rush me to take me down. Again hidden secret from ancient kata resulted in the jerks solar plexus meeting my elbow for a knock out encounter and jerk ends up missing the subway as he tries to regain his breathing. Both incidents had my attacker neutralized to the point the threat was gone. If I had deployed my handgun, I am not sure how that would have worked for me legally and would it have stopped or increase the damages? In so far as drawing my weapon to protect others in a public setting like a shopping mall or theater that would require a whole lot of analysis. First and foremost, how would law enforcement know I am a good guy who is armed? Now if law enforcement was on the scene and requested I fight with them then yes, I am in. Otherwise I am going to help others escape and get the hell as far away so SWAT can neutralize the threat so I do not catch any full metal jackets or shrapnel. Sadly there are violent sociopaths loose in public. Yes they are concentrated in there neighborhood, but many are mobile. So while I train and retrain and remember the dark side from war combat experience I leave you with the words of wisdom to “make love, not war, be prepared for both!”

Sad that more that 20,000 people are that ignorant of the need to control coyotes and have time to waste on such ridiculous protesting. With all the real problems that need attention, these 20,000 people are protesting a coyote hunting contest?
