I dont know but I can tell you in that place there small game hunting like 90% of the guys you see because they release pheasants there .
-
Well that is what I did I waved and walked off . I guess the title I used was a poor choice of words.
-
I think it's around 1000 acres I dont know why you keep insisting on saying I was mad at the guy for bow hunting on the same trail as me , I could care less I just thought it was strange. and kind of not safe for him to be there in all camo in a climber Especially when he was hunting 5 feet from a posted sign . and not wave me off warn me he was there . And it made me wonder about the regulations of hunting on trails . I always assumed you can, but I never was %100 sure about it . Never hurts to ask so I thought . But now I know better .
-
Well that trail had those little blue plastic markers along it That say trail on it .
-
Either ask the police or ask your local sanitation department what you should do with it and if they deal with that .
-
we went from me talking about a guy bow hunting over a market trail and behind posted signs . Which I just was wondering what you guys think about that and the legality of it . To guys talking about who got the right to hunt what animals on public land . And how do you no he dont own that land. Those are not my words and I did not even ask that question. Actually wanted to ask another question about something but I'm seriously considering not even bothering since it will only be twisted into something else looks like .
-
Ok that's all I wanted to know did not think so but was not %100 sure .
-
They release pheasants at this place usually dont see bow hunters there .
-
That's kinda really more of the point but lol It got me thinking about the regulation about not shooting over a public highway. Could that apply to a public land marked trail ? Because some of those trails are the width of a road .
-
Legal illegal or just being a scumbag was asking a question maybe the title was a little misleading I guess
-
Ok so I could have been more precise on what I really wanted to know I guess.
-
Well yea because I wanted to know if people think it was a safe thing to do even if not technically illegal as people have stated already . Because actually i a few times jumped deer on trails and always waited until they got off the trail before attempting to shoot at them . Because I never was %100 sure on the regulations about public land marked trails , being considered different then a public road in the regulations.
-
Ask a simple question if there was any regulations about hunting over market trails on public land . Everyone said no so far that is all I wanted to know .
-
Now who's complaining:) and still are misrepresenting what I just wrote
-
Something else to consider when bow hunting near border lines . Lets assume he did not have permission , but for argument's sake let's say he knows or thinks the border line really is a little farther back then the posted sign that is in front of him by 5 feet , now what happens if he sees a deer and shoots and the deer runs off deep into the private property? Now he has to go and find the owner or break the law even more then he probably already did to recover that deer . So either way he is not being to smart to bow hunt in that spot. .
-
Dont write misleading comments on my post please that is not even what I wrote . Where did i write I was complaining? I asked if there any regulations about hunting over a marked trail .
-
Its possible but there is lot of land behind there so you would think he could find a better spot then that if he had permission
-
No no and no
-
Green line is border orange is the trail I was on he was on top on other side of the green line . Dont think you need more proof then that boss
-
I can believe it
-
It. didn't change I just forgot to write that part in . Was doing something else at the time as i was writing this so I had to cut it short .
-
No Actually I was thinking he is scumbag for trespassing because I can guarantee you the owner of that land would not be hunting in that spot. And he new he was doing something wrong because he waited until I was right on top of him and only waved when I waved first . He thought he was invisible up there with his camo on .
-
This is a well known and heavily used small game hunting area there were six cars in the lot people on public land need to be careful think about where your hunting and who is around is all I'm saying . You have to be extra careful.

Wave walk away

That place is well know for small game hunting the guy should be more careful and at least have some blaze on
