    Yea I know but its different when you are going and doing something new . Different story if I went up there year after year hunting same area and got tag soup . Then I would be annoyed.

    That is the challenge of it I'm not going up there looking for a easy hunt if I want that got places closer to home to do that . I no more then likely not going to see anything in the short time I'm up there anyway going to be a good time all the same .

    True but getting closer is the fun part for me and using a single shot makes it more rewarding if I do connect. Will see when I get up there

    Exstra bullet on stock . Like I said me personally it's always been first shot dead deer or nothing .

    I'm leaning to the 4 ib single shot takedown that I can backpack . 3 inch slug makes a pretty big hole and overthere you can not see far anyway maybe know more then 50 yards in most places that I was at . When I think about it In All the years I have hunted if I did not hit with the first shot deer was gone . Plus I want to walk a lot of miles overthere and it will make a big difference. Probably bring the carbine up there leave in the vehicle just in case I change my mind .

    I was thinking the same thing not even in a nature preserve where you cant hunt have I seen that many shzz I am in the wrong part of the state

    If you are going to hunt in the Adirondacks Alone !!! and you have these choices large bore 8.9 ib bolt action ,8ib carbine semi-automatic 8 ib 12ga shotgun semi-automatic Or take down 4.5 ib single shot shotgun . What you going to use up in the big woods Faster follow-up shot and range versus light weight and compact ?

    Really , is that common for lots of those guys that you here and see on radio and tv to have someone else think up there stuff? Bet that goes double for the media left they all seem like they are reading off a script most of the time

    All he has to do is follow the Constitution and the law and already he will be seen as screwing with the Democrats. They want judges that make up the law as they like not ones that actually read and follow it .

    You could probably modify a old bolt with a large diameter washer or something to make a blunt tip that will not penetrate much and fire it into the ground.

    I Did not bow hunt yet this year have not had the time, today I had time but decided to try out my new shotgun on some small game . Didn't see a thing . O bought I did find some mushrooms .

    First time I went hunting in my usual public land spots that I have been hunting for years and did not see not one hunter no bow hunters no pheasant or small game hunters nobody or here not one gun shot . To Warm Maybe ?

    hahaha that reminds what my dad use to joke he would say deer are just like people they would rather stay near the subburbs then in the woods just like people . Yea and the 2 times I saw deer in the summer up there was near campgrounds and near houses where you cant hunt . Lol
