Nope ordered the bigger one less than $115 delivered. My vice is 16" wide so I thought I should get the wider one. Besides they wanted $40 to ship the smaller one and only $18 to ship the 360. The 360 (larger one) ended up being cheaper also! Good deal with 25% off - thanks for mentioning it! Happy Hunting

awesome deal, I have a tripod with a pig saddle I use for coyote hunting, also have a trigger stick I use for on-the-go deer hunting (beacuse it's light...lol) but was looking for something to sight in with using my vice/rest. thanks

I think I'm going to get the smaller one X-Ecutor, I don't need one that revolves. Also 25% off right now. thanks

I like it - am ordering one! Thanks

Am in the market for a new rifle/bench rest. I have a nice one now, but in my new location, I do not have a bench nor can I place one from where I shoot. I set up my current vice/rest on the ground in my driveway and sight my guns in from there usually at 100 yards. The angle I have to commit to while laying on the ground and using the vice does not allow the butt-end to fit exactly into my shoulder pocket and my collar bone gets wacked and bruised from the steel "v" that holds the rifle/shotgun butt end. This happens, because I can't clamp or secure the vice to the driveway. This is not a problem with the smaller calibers of course, but sighting in my a-bolt slug gun put a hurtin on my collar bone using it this way. Any suggestions?

Another year has gone by. This is signaled by the arrival of city folk in my neck of the woods and the all day Thursday/Friday and sometimes Saturday sighting in of slug guns and rifles. Also there is an endless search for deer from vehicles and quads to check out the neighboring fields. It's a good time of year! Good luck to everyone who shows up this year or is already here. My a-bolt slug gun and 06 are ready for the season - let the party begin!

That is pretty neat. When in canada archery bear hunting, i had a squirrel barking at me seemed forever. So long i was trying to decide if i should waste an arrow taking care of him. All of a sudden the sky turned dark and heard a swoosh...swoosh sound. An eagle picked him right off the side of tbe tree but ended up dropping him. Never saw a bird that big. Never heard from the squirrel again either- 10374 replies

Same reason i bought an excalibur recurve. No bow shops close by and i figured if something did happen id have to wait for ordered cables or strings. Cost me some fps as i had to get a 200# pull model at 305fps. Figured it was the lesser of 2 evils

Range finders, what do you recommend?

was looking at them this weekend trying to decide if I wanted to get a smaller version of the 1996 Bushnell (Binocular) type that I have and still use. Decided to get a new e-caller instead (for now) for coyote hunting after dear season. Will probably pick one up next year for archery season tho so I don't have to carry the "huge" one around. Going thru a technology upgrade moment here. -
My whitetail Technologies caller is 10+ years old, guessing my foxpro fx3 is about the same...maybe a little less. Both work fine and are ready to go but decided I needed a change and some new technology. Was also tired of carrying a caller and an electronic decoy SO opted to get me a new early Christmas gift this year. Back ordered a Lucky Duck Revolt caller with the built in decoy, controllable with the remote. Also ordered the lithium battery pack which supposedly lasts for days. It comes with 120 sounds, and the caller can spin left or right via the remote. Hopefully I will get it by the end of deer season (it's on back order) so I can get some field time in with it to check it out and call in some dogs. It gets good reviews on other forums so am hoping the comments ring true.

heading out to my ground blind, hopefully I won't be as dumb today as I was yesterday. Also hope the buck I spooked away yesterday shows up again today (fat chance I know) but there's always hope or maybe his daddy will show up. fingers crossed.- 10374 replies
