  1. I drive along the east side of letchworth every weekend when heading to the property I hunt. Always wanted to give it a shot during archery season.
  2. Does anybody use the Exodus Render cell cam? I’ve read they’re a good camera but don’t know anyone who uses one.
  3. I’ve been using the HSS rope style tree strap. I think it’s more adjustable than the standard ones that come with the harness
  4. I’ve always been told to keep the doe family groups around and shoot the doe with no fawns. Every doe I’ve seen this year has fawns but I’m sure at this point the fawns can survive alone.
  5. This happened to me in a climber. When I shot, the bottom cam hit the rail and sent the arrow left of my aiming point. Luckily I hit liver and recovered the deer but now I always practice a draw when I get on stand to make sure my rail is clear of my bow when shooting
  6. Back in until sunset. Small buck and 2 does 80 yards away now
  7. Hunted till 11 and saw another 7 after the 2 early on. Only buck was a very small spike
  8. The deer were moving this evening. 12 does/fawns and 2 spikes. Also had a flock of turkeys feed by
  9. 37 degrees - 2 doe and 1 fawn feeding back through to bedding cover
  10. I was thinking they were in the Alfred area but there is also a lot of public north of Binghamton
  11. I was thinking they were in the Alfred area but there is also a lot of public north of Binghamton
  12. Those other “hunting” shows spend more time advertising than actually hunting
  13. Yeah. It’s impressive how they can sneak in on bucks that are bedded or hung up with a doe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Check out their NY public land bow hunt from last year. It was also a spot and stalk hunt filmed from an elevated position.
  15. One property I hunt was bought 2.5 years ago and was updated on the county maps but onX still shows the previous owners name.
  16. I’ve been using it for the past 3 years and property ownership has not been updated for the area I hunt.
  17. I think the extended season could work. In recent years there has not been enough snow to ride prior to January in the southern zone and many snowmobile clubs have trails closed due to volunteers still signing/clearing trails at that time. Most of my riding time, even into early January, has to be done in the northern zone.
  18. I’m in. Team 4 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I have had good luck with the G5 Strikers the past two years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Got the 30 yard pin dialed in
  21. Yeah I was told he went on vacation
  22. I usually see an increase in rut activity and day time trail camera pictures (11-2pm) the first week of November. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I ended up going to Heritage Outdoors this morning to get my draw length adjusted (Bullzeye Archery was closed for the week). It seems to be a good archery shop with a staff that is willing to help even with small jobs.
  24. Thanks for the suggestions. I figured a 30-45 min drive would be needed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
