Love the fact that when somebody has a different point of view or contradicts somebody's opinion on the established sentiment people are offended ... ashamed to be associated with ...so on and so forth ... You cant argue the facts. This is a bad time for all. I make no apologies for what I believe is right or wrong.

King andy has offered to pay for the lost ventilators when it's all over so it's all good .

Ok ... my wife works in a small hospital . They have 2 ventilators at the hospital. They were told on Friday that the state wants both of them. Oh and as well they want all the masks and gowns that they have . Just keep enough for a week of rationing. Not taking into consideration that they have multiple people in ICU with covid 19. One of the ventilators is being used. And after a week we will try to get supplies to you as you need it . Should they pull the person on the ventilator let them die so we can send it to the city... are they going to pull a ventilator off a person in the city send it up here to save my family member or neighbor .

What I dont get is he is giving ultimatums we can spread the virus more by sending infected people upstate .. or we can take the equipment downstate and let people upstate contract the virus. Let the healthcare workers contract the virus ... with no way to save them because he took everything down state .... there is no front line anymore ... He missed the boat on containment . Yet he still half ass managing things for his core groups benafit . To hell with the people that wont fall inline to his political aspersions. Once again western ny ...upstate... sucks hind tit to what he believes is the greater good for the city.

What's not real ? Cuomo signed executive order to pull all surplus ppe and unused vents via national guard and take it to the city hospitals . It was on local news and national news tonight . He just signed death warrant for alot of upstate people.

Yup I see it all the time . Guys man handle fish drag them through the mud ... 5 minute picture sessions then plunk back into the water . Some fish will die . But through education people could learn to handle them properly. We use to teach that in tu fly fishing classes. In the end its about respecting the fish .

Just heard from nephew. BIL and nephew fished Catherine's creek. Said people were fishing before day break jumped in the hole they were waiting at and were snagging . They moved to another spot only to have teenagers booting fish . He is bummed. I reminded him that a fly fisherman's time has just begun and fishing will get better for us .

Gotcha . I bought 2 sage quiet taper lines and still use them today . They are 1 wt lines. However I think sage bought rio lines and are making 1 wt in an LT series of lines . Haven't looked in a while .

It's just time and a place thing . When I finally got things back out my epoxy was bad and the gears in my drying motor are shot .... should not loan stuff out . Thanks for the compliment on the build . I have made a dozen or so fly rods . I enjoy doing it . That's the fanciest grip I have ever made . The cost of the blank makes it kind of nerve wracking to work on .

I get it ... what ever floats your boat ... 5 wt is a good weight rod for most people and general fishing . I like a one wt for brookies and small water . Kind of like a guy who has one rifle to hunt deer .... 30/06... now you could use it for squirrels but it might not leave alot of meat for the pot .

Ok so a one wt would underline your two weight rod . This could make it cast a little faster depending on the rod . Also depending on the rod underlining the rod could rob enough power it may not turn the line over properly . All rods from the manufacturer has a recommended line weight . Going up or down a weight is common for some guys . If a guy thinks the rod is to fast ... or they cant feel the rod load they will go up a weight . If the rod feels slow or over flexes they will under line . Hope this helps .
