Plots and property look nice. I have never had luck with sunflowers as well. Last year I planted whitetail's powerplant which is a blend of sorghum and sunflowers. The sorghum looked great and deer loved it for bedding, but I never saw any sunflowers.

I can't wait to get up and check plots. Hopefully I will have some pictures to post this weekend.

Thanks....I'm really hoping the Quail Haven soybeans do well...they were only a $1 a pound and can climb from 6-12 ft if conditions are good...bummed a bit about the sunflowers that will thin the plot out a lot I think...and I had disced them in good before planting the other seed....

The Sun flowers were dug up and eaten...empty shells every where...unless I buried some really deep looks like there won't be any....I had added 5 lbs of them...so it was between this field shown and the upper smaller field ...5#'s of sunflower...16 #'s of SB and 9#'s of hemp...plus the 1oz of Kanaf and 1oz of sweet sorghum the SB's had in them when they arrived....I know that doesn't sound like a lot ..but the seed is small 15,000 seed per # for the hemp and the Quail Haven seed wasn't much bigger than the hemp seed
