I had a good morning .....

Drove down to Lyons to the Veterans Administration and got the paper I needed for the County Clerk so I could get a Veteran's I.D. Card . Done deal .

While I was at the Clerk's office , I filled out the paperwork to have my pistol permits consolidated on a plastic card . I should get the card within a week's time ...... hopefully . I asked the main clerk if there were any judges that had changed the status of the permits and she said "no" . I recall someone saying on here some time ago that his permit was changed to hunting & target only so I was leary about changing anything .

Yes, and they can revoke it at any time.

I have 3 Rugers and a Thompson Contender with 4 different cal barrels so I have to have 7 papers . The Card will eliminate that . Wayne County if finally catching up with the other counties ........

I got my plastic Pistol Permit in the mail today . One card with the picture and Concealed Carry and a 2nd card with the pistols listed on it . That was quick !

Your pistol license is issued by the county, but It is a New York State License. If you should move from one county to the next you do not need to change the county of your license. You do however have to notify the issuing county of your address change.
