How's it looking so far for everyone? I've been seeing more deer lately.

I have gotten some great bucks on my trailcam from 4g. Same thing happened last year though and then once the season came they seemed to dissapear .

I gotta say ive been pretty fortunate in that aspect. I have found that I rarely get nice bucks on my property before the season. Once the rut rolls around thats when I start getting picks of bigger deer. Go figure.

Got lots of nice bucks on camera, Seen 2 spikes an a big 4 pt feeding all around my stand sat afternoon for about 1 hr

Have been out in the afternoons for past 5 days and only seen 3 does. Much to far away for a shot. Hopefully things will get better then last year.

Well it looks like things might be picking up. I went out this pm and saw 1 doe but to far away for a shot. When I came home and looked out my bedroom window later, were 6 does and 2 buck in my back yard. Bucks were a 4pt and the other a long spike. Both buck were pushing each other for quite a while Maybe it is the start of the rut

Yeah that rain sucked last weekend! It was cold rain too lol. Good to hear they're starting to pick up and move now..

Seen 1 doe sat 10/20 1 button buck sun 10/21 AN ONE BIG WHITE DOG sat morning (with collar)

Hutnted 4g yesterday morn. No deer but it was real windy. I do think i found out where the big ones i got on cam in sept are bedding. Gonna hunt the area next time im upstate.

Got to my ladder stand, on my property, about 9am(overslept). About 10 minutes went by when a big doe walked in . Place a shot right behind shoulder. It is hanging now.

Spent 6 hrs sat an 3 hrs this morning 10/28 and seen nothing that even resembled a deer!!!! LOL

Seems like they're moving around with this cold weather but it looks like it's suppose to warm up again next week..

I know it's not the same area as you guys are hunting upstate but here on the Island I've been seeing plenty of deer unforunately on the side of the major roads (Long Island Expressway, Sunrise highway). My girlfriend who lives on the east end of Long Island has mentioned to me in her travels she's seeing them left and right and very active. So I'm looking forward to getting out there!

Was up this past weekend, beautiful weather seen a couple of does in the yard just waiting for saturday. Seen a lot of scrapes and signs so hopefully opening day will be successful!
