Morning or evening

Which time of the day is everyone hunting. I'm seeing a lot in the evenings . Debating weather or not to sneak out in the mornings before work.

where abouts are you hunting?? i shot my buck at 9:15 am.. but went out the other evening too wack a doe and had a big 8 pt come in around 4pm. i prefer morning hunts though

I am seeing deer every time I go out, mornings and evenings...I say if you have time and a couple different stands, go out every chance you get...as long as you can spend the time recovering the deer if you shoot one.

i sit all day! most of my deer have been am kills on the other hand my uncle seems to kill all his in the pm

Well first off you cant shoot a deer if your not in the woods lol. Not a big morning hunter myself, hardly ever see deer then. Anytime from 10 till dark is a good time for this guy. BUT it probably is just my stand selections. So I stick with what I know and what works for me. All you can do is try and make a personal judgment.

morning and evening. seeing more around 6pm, boderline getting late/dark and could be trouble tracking it that late

i hunt em both. i perfer mornings though.. i'll track in the dark if i get one, but id rather do it in the light

For me it depends on the stand setup. I have places I wouldnt think to go to in the am (foodplots) but I also have spots that cater to both am & pm hunts like acorn ridges. I love to hunt whenever I can but the mornings have an edge for me.

I prefer mornings. Love to listen to the woods wake up. Evening hunts are nice too but I would rather be out by 11. Best of both worlds, hunt the morning and still have the afternoon for other things.

i like mornings, but shot majority of deer in pm sits. only a few in the a.m.

I hunt mostly AM,2 to 1. I try to do 2 AM's 1 PM repete.In the rut both or all day. Love the Am watch the woods wake up,still have all day to go to the gym,yard work , run the dog and so forth. I hate getting home at 8:30 at night like last night .

Been hunting all Pm's this week seen nothing but does. In the woods and the fields all does. Gonna try the morning tomorrow in my woods stand If its not pouring. Apple orchard Sunday evening.

5 Morning hunts so far with 12 Sightings (10 Doe, 2 Smaller Buck) and 3 Legit Chances and 1 Harvest....Have seen atleast one deer every morning out.

3 Evening hunts so far with 2 Sightings (1 Big Doe, 1 Nicer 6-8 Buck) and 1 Legit Chance...did not see deer on 2 of the 3 evening hunts.

I should note that I only went to my proven evening stand once, and I had two deer walk right under me that night..its also a breeding ground so I have a feeling when I get back there one afternoon this week I will be seeing deer.
