Never tried Mule Deer and haven't tried the Antelope yet. Im sure like most animals the younger ones taste better. We shot older animals.

While in Wyoming I saw a Mule Deer mounted with just 1 ear back, it was pretty cool. I think I am going to get a mount like this so that the drop brow point doesnt get hidden behind the ear.

I donated my mulie too. Same thing, $100 processing fee to donate it. What airline did you fly? Did they charge extra for the antlers?

Great Lakes Airlines to/from Denver/Sheridan.....Frontier coming home from Denver to NYC. I put the antlers and horn in a box, so I only paid $20 for the extra piece of luggage.
