Outline everything you want done and the condidtion you want the area left in. Cover it all up front and go with the best pricing.........

Should include specifics about what you want done with branches/trimmings & filling in/leveling of equipment ruts.

im really interested in getting my property logged, but i been searching and i can not find anyone in my area. the property is located in the middletown area. i want to create new trails and widen up old ones. im even thinking about clearing out and acre or so to put in a food plot. if anyone knows someone or has info on a few loggers i would really appreciate as much info as possible. more then one would be great would like to compare a few and see what they say. of course i would be doing this after the season. thanks once again

what your location? I have a good outfit here but thats here.

I have been in the woods cutting firewood and the deer walked right up to me when I was running the chainsaw. I also had a woods logged out during late gun season, did not make that much of a difference. Those tree tops make a great place to bed.You will not believe the new groth you get next spring. One thing I don't understand you stated he is cutting 30 trees that are 8 inches around. Does not even make sense money wise to cut trees that small. Sounds like a firewood company deal. That is the right size for fire wood, when split.

I'm not really sure if those were just markers of some sort or what but the trees ribboned were only that size. I do the harvest is going to Canada which from what I understand is where ALL our hardwood (oak anyways) goes.

I don't know all I do know is the trees that were marked with a piece of survey tape were roughly 8-10 inches, I didn't actually "see" all 30 tress or whatever but the ones I did see (10 or so) were that size idk. But anyways it's under way, they started building the landing saturday.
