AaronBlaine
So my rifle season is over! Second year since i got into hunting and although i still have yet to get a deer i am so happy i decided to take this wonderful age old american tradition up in the first place. All the beautiful little places i have found trailblazing through state parks. I find it amazing how much better you get at hunting as time goes on. I cant wait for next spring for turkey season and i am def going to get a bow for the following bow season! I have learned so much from this site and fellow hunters and i am extremely grateful. For you muzzleloaders i wish u the best of luck!

Elmo
Aaron, don't know what your budget is but I got my entire CVA Wolf setup for a little over $300. $212 for rifle plus mount and tax. Spend $40 on scope. And about $50 for powder, primers, and bullets. Got 1 and half inch groups at 100 yards on one range session. Dropped my first deer on it's first day out. The stock definitely does feel cheap and the ramrod is already all scratched up just from one range session but if you're on a budget and just need something to get the job done, it is an option. Guns&ReligionCop
I wasn't sure about the muzzleloading thing so I got a cheap drop breach traditions MZ from the sportsmans guide. I was supprised how well it shot. Hopefully will whack something with it this week.
phade
Getting a bow was the best hunting decision I ever made. If you think gun hunting is fun, try staring down a buck at full draw. Talk about an adrenaline rush. I also strongly urge the CVA Wolf. As much as TC is a quality firearm, the CVA Wolf is by far capable and cost-effective. I have a much more high end muzzleloader, but still take my Wolf out each year. Heck, the doe I shot this regular season was with the Wolf. 16. ga hunter
the wolf is a great front stuffer and if you wait till mid january can be had for less than 100 if you look around. i know bought mine that way new for 85 best 85 i've spent in awhile
erussell
Id still buy the T/C, Yes a cheaper model will do the job but its just that cheap and not made in the USA. They also make a cheaper no thrills model of T/C for $300 that is made in the USA. Keep Americans working and dump the spanish junk CVA's and Traditions. If you can save up $300 you can save up $600. Just sayin. http://www.tcarms.com/firearms/muzzleloaders.php
