fasteddie
A good friend of mine and his wife do NOT allow anyone to hunt on their property . They are not anti hunters they just won't let anyone hunt the apple farm . Neighbors on 2 sides hunt and have been given permission to retrieve deer from the farm if necessary . Anyway several of our church group were at their home yesterday for brunch . My friend showed me where the deer mowed down their Swiss Chard and I laughed . He said it wasn't funny . I told him it would be funnier if the deer came during the summer months and ate the whole damned garden and that he needs someone to come over and thin out a few of those deer . That will never happen ! He said the deer never touched the parsley and I told him no one eats parsley . He asked me a couple years ago why I never offered him any venison and I told him that I would give him some venison from the 1st deer I got from his property .

Lawdwaz
Sometimes those kind of folks will change their mind but I wouldn't count on it. It would be a sweet spot to get a crack at though!
fasteddie
I have known this couple for at least 30 years and there is no way they will change . If it wasn't illegal to feed deer , I would like to place a trail of corn to their garden !
