jjb4900
and like it was said before, this is an issue that needs to be addressed with the lawmakers, not the cop on the street trying to do his job.....I would hope everyone would like the police to be able to do the job with the best tools afforded to them, and until this turns into something more than politicians screwing the public by infringing with their rights, lets not misdirect our anger. Early
You make some good points, but you also strengthen my argument that the people deserve weapons equivalent to what the police have. If not....then the govt. has superior firepower...the bad guys have same...and we citizens are the ones left out-gunned.

jjb4900
Again....you misunderstand: No one, at least I am not blaming the police. that wasn't directed at you..there are some who are holding the cops on the street accountable.....and they didn't reinvent the wheel with this current laws, law enforcement has always had exemptions from certain weapons laws. Early
If cops on the street enforce unconstitutional laws, then they should be viewed as guilty of derelict of duty....They took an oath to uphold the constitution. No more from me on this....You government apologists scare me...and make me sick!
jjb4900
if someone stating a fact that law enforcement officers have had exemptions from weapons ownership for years and nobody spoke up makes you sick, than you should see a doctor, because it's only gonna get worse. 13BVET
Called out on what? Shawn is a damned good friend of mine, and I'll sure as hell stick up for him too. So, I'd like to know just what I was supposedly called out on. I'll be waiting. I'm sure you'll enlighten me with your profound wisdom. I guess you don't like your own medicine, do you? You strike me as one of those that can dish it out, but can't take any back your way. I recall you jumping on the band wagon every opportunity you get, but that's ok, I understand it must be rough being you. You make it your agenda to bad mouth and attack anyone that had any negative experiences with LEO, and I'll make it mine to point out FACTS that the police is not immune to the law they are sworn to uphold and those like YOU that want everyone to think they are. Doc
Reading these last bunch of replies by Early and some others has just reminded me that when you get into discussions like these people like him don't even read any replies to his messages. I know he is not stupid, and should be fully capable of grasping the simple points that are being made, so I am assuming that he doesn't even read any responses, but simply makes up in his mind what he wishes they had been. He is just another one of these people that likes to make up mythical content to any replies just to have the ability to argue. Yup! that's right another one-man conversation where he makes up the opposing argument and then comments on it. It's kind of silly isn't it? Well, I guess I've wasted about enough time on that kind of foolishness. It all serves no purpose at all?
jjb4900
enough with the hate already, should we hate every priest just because a few thought it was ok to have sex with boys? should we hate every teacher just because a few decided it was ok to download kiddie porn? should we hate every cop just because a few have tarnished their badges? should we hate all those in military uniforms because a few have raped children and mowed down innocent people because they snapped?...I would hope not. Don't try to make yourself look like a saint by painting others as satin. No one here is a cop hater. But why is it that every time someone comes forth with a LEO story that paints them in anything less than a hero, gets slammed by the likes of you? Then you turn it around and make it out like those that has been victimized by these so-called public servants out to be the bad guys when they speak out their experiences. You know who you sound like right? The very politicians you claim to despise. Just shut your mouth now and allow the thread to continue. I notice once again, that you paint the military in a worse light than law enforcement. Screw you. Raped children? Mowed down innocent people because they snapped? What in the hell do you know about what they went through-you weren't there. You know nothing about what these men and women go through in combat zones. Hell, you've never even been in boots-that's pretty obvious. As for hate, I hate those who hate the military.
