Early
Spring is here when the ultra-hot strawberry blonde from around the corner walks her dog, dressed like something other than an eskimo!!! (For the record: As an eskimo....she looked great!)
Gthphtm
That just goes to show you how the ground hog screwed up this year even the skunks are looking to get out of the weather.
wdswtr
I have been seeing road kill skunks for a few weeks now. No idea why either cause its been cold and theres still 2 feet of snowpack in my woods with 10 inches fresh snow last night. One startled me while gathering sap just a few days ago too. I think everything is all screwedup including this weather lol.

WNYBuckHunter
I smelled the first one around here almost a month ago. Been seeing them hit on the roads for that long too. I saw a huge flock of snow geese the other day.
Cabin Fever
I have been seeing road kill skunks for a few weeks now. No idea why either cause its been cold and theres still 2 feet of snowpack in my woods with 10 inches fresh snow last night. It's their breeding season now, in February and March. The males are on the move looking for some lovin', searching from den to den for females! They travel more, so more are hit along the roads now. They also spray more now too! Males fighting males for females, females spraying agressive males if they aren't ready for mating yet, females defending dens, etc... growalot
Well that fool certainly got a last surprise!...I imagine the panic as he cleared the fence into the kennel and those two huge shepherds came out of their house....I think he had friends out and about last night for the boys barked half the night....Time to get the bark inhibitor out and retrain them....
