Derale transmission cooler

I have a brand new in the bos Derale Performance Intermediate (18500 lbs) transmission cooler. It is the unpainted aluminum model, part #12903. Retail is @ $45, ill take the first $30.

I think this is something predate needs for his vehicle diagnostics issues!!

Its for a car or truck, helps to cool the transmission fluid for towing, racing, performance applications.

I was actually gonna buy a B & M transmission cooler last week for my 99 Cherokee, but ended up overhauling my engine cooling system instead. 

WNYBuckHunter explained it right.

The Cherokees are equipped with a rather small radiator for a 4.0 inline 6 cylinder. The stock transmission cooler in the jeep is built right into the radiator. Installing an external cooler will be more efficient for keeping the transmission cool, as 90% of all transmission failures are caused by excessive heat. 

WNYBuck- let me research the one you're offering to make sure it'll fit without too many modifications and I'll let you know.

 

I don't haul too much with her other than my canoe on top, but she's my predator hunting machine! She eats the snow up in the winter time!

Well heck predate, you do definitely need a tranny cooler! You must keep the varmint killin machine rolling or we'll be over run in no time.

Predate, it will work with your Cherokee. I originally bought this for our old 98 Cherokee before the ol' lady wrecked it.
