NYbuck50
i have a feeling its gonna be a late one this year. seems like everything is a few weeks behind
phade
I don't think there is much variation date wise each year. I have however, started to believe that the best chasing days are in the Nov. 4/5 through 11 for wNY. I have more transient mature bucks on cam in that week period than any other. Those who take vacation are often at the mercy of picking a week, etc. I'd opt for that second week imo because it reduces factors such as a warm spell, which will limit daytime activity to a degree. Nothing worse than taking that first week of November off and it's your only five days of vacation...and sitting in 65-70 degree sun.

Jrs5144
Just curious what types of things you are seeing that are a few weeks behind?
phade
This is going to be a pretty exemplar rut from the predictions. I don't put much faith in the variations of more than a day or two for peak rut.
mac
what Phade mentioned is a good guideline...the clocks get turned back for daylight savings Nov 3(Sun) this year. the following next week or 2 is a good time for vacation days
